Usual Ibis standards, although the rooms here looked a little more tired than others we have stayed at. Public area was fine, friendly staff and good breakfast. The 15% discount voucher for the restaurant next door was welcome and we enjoyed our meal there.

Great stay at Ibis - Chalon-Sur-Saone. Good value for money, comfortable room, delicious breakfast and most friendly staff who made us feel welcome at all times.

Most comfortable stay at Ibis Chalon Nord
Most friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Great choice of breakfast and excellent dinner at next door Courtepaille. Definitely recommended.

A decent low budget stopover hotel, with sufficient parking available, and discounted access to the Courtepaille restaurant sharing its location (food is formulaic but good and service is good). Amenities are ok. Some social distancing measures taken, but as IBIS tend to be fairly small hotels, it won’t feel as “safe” as some other bigger hotels.

A Good location for overnight or a longer stay
The sign to the hotel was not as clear as it could have been but the reception was straight forward and slick. The hotel was clean and well positioned with a good restaurant close by with a good choice of food -15% discount for hotel residents. There were no tea making facilities, but we had our own kettle and tea bags. A good choice for an overnight stop.

A steal, great breakfast, great mattresses
Lovely staff. Super clean. Very comfortable beds (and I'm picky). Great showers. 9/10 French breakfast! Rooms are small but who cares.

Very well situated. A break in the journey from home to Calais. This was our 5th stay. Nice clean room, good service and most important pet friendly.

Nice hotel shame about the bathroom and breakfast
Bathroom layout is very poor with toilet so close to the wall that it is impossible to sit comfortably. Poor breakfast with frozen "fresh" fruit and dry chewy croissants, tasted like supermarket bulk buy rather than fresh.

Third visit to this hotel this year. All building and decorating work is now finished, making it very clean and modern looking. Rooms are comfortable and the staff are very helpful. Ideal short stay location.

Unfortunately the hotel was in the middle of a major refurbishment which meant that the hotel was full of building and decorating materials, workmen and noise. The room however was clean and comfortable.
