The bath tub filled with dark brown water, and some brown water came out of the tap. The last night we were there, we found the bed sheets had been changed and the new ones had blood stains. In general this was a nice hotel decades ago. (The blond wood furniture and scratchy, stiff couch were straight out of my childhood.) The apartment is very large, 2.5 baths, a huge walk-in closet complete with shoe holders and mirrored walls. But it is not nice now.

Hotel facilities (room, pool, gym) and staff are great. Ideally located and even has an organic restaurant.

A hotel that feels (almost) like home
The size is perfect, the amenities are good and the staff is very kind. They offer to clean 2 shirts for free. Rooms are spacious and clean. I go to Sao Paulo every month and I made the Etoile hotel my home in SP. Another important fact, it's in Jardins, a safe neighborhood with many great restaurants.

Nice hotel in a great neighborhood.
My room looked a lot like a small one bedroom apartment. Very practical if you have to work, or need a separate room from the bedroom. Also, very comfortable and well located.

Hotels are very expensive in Sao Paulo - and I was willing to pay to be comfortable. I read lots of reviews and thought this was the best bet, What I never got from the reviews is that this is an apartment hotel. When I arrived the hotel staff was a bit surprised that I was by myself. I had a massive apartment with two bedrooms, dining room, living room, kitchen, storage rooms, loads of bathrooms and a dressing room! If I were with my family this would have been fantastic, The apartment was very nice and very clean - with great maid service. However, by myself I would have just preferred a normal hotel room - particularly given the fact that this was the middle of the winter and it was very cold and I could only heat the bedroom with the space heater (there's no central heating). The apartment was much too big to heat with a space heater. In the end, the apartment was great - but not what I was looking for and I think I paid such a high price because I was paying for a very large apartment. The staff was very friendly, but with the exception of one person no one spoke anything but Portuguese. This wasn't a problem, but could be for other travelers.

Decepcionante as fotos mostradas no site Hotéis.com não correspondem a todos os quartos. Da a entender que foram todos reformados mas, ficamos em um muito velho, cheiro de mofo.

Excelente hotel
Assim que chegamos, nos ofereceram como cortesia café expresso e água mineral, bem como nos brindaram com um upgrade de quarto para a suíte super luxo. O quarto é fantástico ! Na verdade, é um verdadeiro apartamento com duas suítes, sala de estar, sala de jantar, closet e cozinha americana. O bairro é excelente, no coração dos Jardins.

O atendimento foi sensacional, os quartos em perfeito estado, clima francês, vista maravilhosa, serviço de quarto rápido e de muita qualidade, limpeza perfeito, não tenho nenhuma critica a fazer. Apenas irei dar uma dica, a cadeira da recepcionista estava remendado visivelmente nos dois braços com fita adesiva. Eu particularmente não ligo, mas convenhamos que uma cadeira remendada com fita nos dois braços bem a amostra dos clientes não é muito positivo para o hotel em si. Mas isso é so uma pequena observação no meio da maravilha que foi a minha estadia. Estão de parabens! Voltaria com certeza!
