"This hotel has a stunningly great restaurant but the property is past its prime. It may have been great once but the place is run down, far from everything and needs an enormous amount of work."
"Very interesting place. We spent one morning just going around the building and reading about its history. The problem here is the expectations they create. This is not a luxury hotel with haute cuisine. It's a simple accommodation in a historic building, and if they had set my expectations accordingly I would probably leave a better review. "Amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and unbelievably helpful with recommendations and help to make reservations. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable with our own private patio. The location is ideal, 15min drive to town but your own secluded spot with an amazing view and friendly animals. Hot breakfast each morning was delicious. "
