Hello I am writing to share a recent 1/5 star experience that I believe should be actioned on, as my boyfriend and I did not receive the service we paid to receive. In short, and bullet points: · We didn't stay at the hotel we paid for · The place was dirty with sand everywhere on the floor when we arrived. Several days passed before fixing, even though the cleaning staff did enter the room to "clean" on more than one occasion, but they just changed the towels, made the bed, and left. · Upon arrival, we found old blood on our bed sheets. These bedsheets never got changed, despite us being there for ~ten days plus our request to change this got ignored twice (Two times!). · We wrote an email to the hotel, pre-booking, to ask about our hotel room. It got ignored. We used the official email address on Gavimar's website (info@gavimar-hotels.com). You can find it on this page in the footer: https://www.calagranhotel.com/. · We called the reception pre-booking and got told that all-inclusive meant all-inclusive with whatever drink we wanted in their bar. But, in reality, we only got access to cheap versions of cocktails and other kinds of alcohol (We had to pay extra to get the "real" deal).

Below Average Hotel
Staff didn't greet when walking past the reception. It constantly smelled like deep fried food in the entire hotel. The buffet was very basic and most things deep-fried. On one of the nights there was a DJ in the Lobby with very loud music until late at night. It was so loud you were unable to even have a normal conversation in the rooms upstairs as it was so noisy. Also charging for Wifi is unacceptable in a hotel which offers all inclusive.

AVOID this hotel!!
Sent my son and his girlfriend on a well deserved holiday for their 21st birthdays and graduation present. From the time they arrived...a disaster. Filthy rooms, unkept hallways, stained bedding etc... manager wasn’t interested in their complaints. Expedia did they’re best but no other availability in surrounding hotels. They suffered for 3 days and then got upgraded....room wasn’t much better. The manager put the phone down on me twice when I complained 😡😡😡

stairway to hell
We had booked a junior suite on arrival told it was in an out building , our room was on the 5th floor & had no lift.I told them no way could we could go up to that room as we are over 83 after discussion a std room was found close to the entertainment which was the worst we had ever seen . one children's act was to see who could scream the loudest ,the building is such that the room was open &could not be closed off. We have never been in a hotel with as many stairs, lots of people said never again, we agree

Nice Hotel, very good for relaxing
Myself and two of my friends stop at this hotel, on the basis that it was a quiet place to go which it was. The only down side to the hotel is the pool bar closed early which meant that once you wanted a drink you have to dry off walk through the hotel downstairs past reception to go to the other bar. bit of a ball ache

Great little Hotel, Very good Value
We booked a sea view room...Perfect , what a wonderful View we had. Half Board, Breakfast ..bacon and eggs every morning just as i like. Evening meal buffet good, plenty to choose from. Location is excellent , so close to beach and a good selection of shops. Value for money ..EXCELLENT.

3rd Time
Lovely hotel with direct beach access, stayed all inclusive food fairly decent always a vast choice of meats hot and cold , fish pastas plenty of salads. Snacks all day and drinks ok. Lovely surrounding area with loads of shops bars restaurants and a lovely vibrant marina. Beds not so comfortable and really could have done with aircon of an evening . Was in room 2220 across the bridge in ajoining Costa del sur hotel which is right above the bar and seating area which resulted in our room been filled up with cigarette smoke. Plenty of activities from the animacion team throughout the day and acts of an evening . It's our 3rd time at this hotel didn't disappoint.

Friendly staff, close to the beach and centre
Our 2nd time here & is an excellent Base for our holiday. Whether by the pool or on the beach. The pools are a little small, but the beach is only across the road, but everything is close by. The food is OK & staff are friendly. We will be back!

The food was unfortunately barely edible. Occasionally there was a dish which was good/ok, but the majority of the food was tasteless, the meat very tough, and the eggs like rubber. We ended up going out for dinner. Very disappointing. The shower was terrible, water was weak and simply didn’t work properly, and kept flooding the bathroom floor. The room was not completely clean. The balcony door was very difficult to open and close. The personal were polite, and the entertainment team were brilliant.

Établissement très grand, idéalement situé l’esthétique extérieur très sympa. Personnel au top, gentil, accueillant et disponible. Plusieurs piscines à dispositions, bémol quand à l’heure d’ouvertures de celles-ci (10h-18h) par contre, très bien entretenues. Notre appartement n’était pas adapté pour une famille de 4 personnes, un peu petit et literie pas super confortable. Buffet pas de grande qualité, salle de sport très vétuste, appareils ne fonctionnant pas ou étant cassé. Animations pas très variés ou tout est animé en anglais. Beaucoup de choses faites pour les touristes allemands et anglais….. Malgré tout cela très bon séjour, Palma de Majorque est une destination magique

Meget slidt hotel. Mangler generelt hygiejne ved buffet i restaurant. Der er spritdispensere men ingen bruger dem da de var tomme og dårligt placeret. Maden kedelig og uden smag og generelt meget tørt kød. Ensformigt. Pool beskidt. Aircondition virkede ikke optimalt på alle værelser. Håbløst med antal solsengen ved pool. Den ene pool var slet ikke åben.

Bra läge men väldigt låg kvalitet på maten
Bra läge men mindre bra hotell. Dålig servicekänsla , krånglig incheckning, konstigt pant-system för all inclusive dryck. Matkvaliteten långt under standard trots högt pris per natt. Vi åt middag flera kvällar på andra restauranger då maten och miljön i restaurangen på hotellet var väldigt låg

Très bon séjour en famille.
Très bon séjour en famille fin octobre. Agréable hôtel situé en bord de plage et près des magasins de vacances.Par contre insonorisation des chambres à revoir.

本当に最高の宿です！
海までも徒歩５分！シュノーケルで魚がたくさん見れました！ホテルでも毎日色々とイベントを用意して下さって毎日とても楽しかったです。目の前でパエリアとサングリアを作って提供してくれたり、マジックショーも本格的！毎日あるミニディスコはうちの子は大好きで家に帰ってからも踊ってます(笑)お買い物も徒歩圏内に色々あるので本当におススメ！！また、来年も利用させて頂きたいと思える宿でした！！

zwembaden okee maar weinig plaats voor bedjes eten was niet warm personeel receptie erg behulpzaam maar bij de eetzaal kon er geen goedemorgen of smakelijk eten uit komen. kamers oud bollig maar wel schoon wij gaan er niet meer terug erg slecht parkeren in de omgeving maar wel vlakbij het strand en het centrum

Nous avons souscrit à la demi-pension et avons été déçu. Seulement l'eau est inclus lors du repas du soir. Même un soda est payant. 1€60 pour un verre de soda coupé à l'eau ... Le personnel est très attentif lors des repas, la dernière goutte tombe dans le verre, que la facture est déjà sur votre table. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas autant d'implication dans les autres domaines. Au niveau de la chambre, c'est très bruyant. La fenêtre et les portes fermées, vous entendez tout ce qu'il se passe dans la rue et dans le couloir. La salle de bain est humide et en mauvaise état. Des fuites au niveau de la baignoire, des réparations au silicone pour "combler", ... Pour la literie, si vous avez des problèmes de dos, passer votre chemin et si vous n'en avez pas, vous risquez d'en avoir. En résumé, manque d'isolation et d'entretien. Une rénovation sera appréciée ...

Le lieu est magnifique avec un accès direct sur une plage fabuleuse. L'accueil est minimaliste et surtout les chambres très décevantes avec une literie catastrophique. Les animations en soirée sont plutôt sympa. Bien pour une escale mais pas pour une semaine avec une restauration basique et repetitive.

Tunnel in die Cala Gran
Hotel entspricht dem üblichen Standart eines 3 Sterne Hotels in Spanien. Abfertigung von Massentourismus. Das Essen ist ordentlich. Am besten ist die Lage mit Tunnel vom Hotel unter der Straße durch in die Bucht. Auch wenn es dort völlig überfüllt ist, denn noch massig andere Hotels sind im Hinterland.
