I would agree with other reviews that some of the appliances/cabs/countertops are outdated, and the WIFI isn’t great; with that being said, we don’t go to the beach to sit in the condo all day - We want the beach, and this place delivers, that’s why I’m giving 5 stars. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention to anyone that is a pool dweller, this pool gets absolutely zero shade. Didn’t hang out there much tho. However, it seems as though no maintenance has been done since we last stayed here. The entire unit smelled of mold and mildew. Mold was visible in the shower area, shower curtain, on all the AC vents, and made it difficult to breath. The linens didn't feel or smell fresh. The carpet was in dire need or replacement. There are insufficient hooks t hand things like towels and/or bathing suits. The toilets and drains were slow to drain. Kitchen drawers refused to shut properly and counter was damaged. Several light bulbs were burned out which speaks to lack of concern for maintenance. We've been vacationing at the Palms for years, always beach side, and will not return to this unit. ##### sherri c. We come every summer to SRB and I have to say this was my least enjoyable unit I’ve stayed in. I’ve stayed at the Palms before. That unit was much nicer. The kitchen is super dated, as are all appliances-dishwasher, laundry units, stove, etc. There is a big stain on the bedroom carpet by the closet. 3 biggest complaints: 1.) A physical key you have to pickup. This is 2022\. A coded door option would have been much better. 2.) the sound from the unit above ours was unreal. It sounded like a parade 24-7\. 3.) for the price, beach service should be included. ##### Nadalie H. Dresser drawers stuck badly. . The bed was very comfortable, all other furnishings are very dated. Our friends stayed in a newly remodeled unit which cost less than this unit.
