Not many hotels on the Island will have a location as good as this. Perched on the hill overlooking Port Adriano and only 10 minutes or so from Port Andratx and 20 minutes from Palma. It's a new (ish) smart and well designed hotel which is great for relaxing and getting some sun. Very friendly and efficient staff, a hands on and interested manager make for a winning formula. Large rooms and bathrooms, good bar and restaurant - very difficult to find fault.

The hotel is in an excellent location, good value and spotlessly clean. The food is ok with a wide ranging choice of food but it was cold on too many occasions. We had a good view of the hills from our room and the facilities were good with a fridge and large tv in the room. The only negatives were that the bed was a little hard and I thought wifi should be free of charge in this day and age. There is an indoor pool but it was never open whilst we were there, it would have been handy especially when the weather was bad.
Three friends in their late 20's. Good base for our holiday as close to the beach and local shops and restaurants. Short taxi ride to palma. A lot of families, but wasn't a problem.
The pool did get very busy with children so we didn't use it, possibly a children pool needed.
And we had to pay for sunbeds which we didn't think would be an added expense whilst staying there.
However, a nice clean room and perfect for what we needed. Studios are a bit pokey for 3 though, perfect size for 2.
Would visit Santa ponsa/ palma again, but possibly base ourselves in palma or palmanova as Santa ponsa seems more of a family resort.
we had a great time in Santa Ponsa, the hotel was so clean and tidy , The breakfast had great choices for everyone cannot comment on the evening meal as we were bed and breakfast. . Hotel was close to the beach and lots of Restaurants . WAS AN ENJOYABLE STAY ..
"Great location - on the quieter side of the resort"
Staff friendly and speak great English!
Ambience is great.
Breakfast is great too! a wide selection of hot and cold continental food, including the obligatory Spanish bacon!
The sweet cakes and biscuits are a lovely addition - as well as the daily specials (churros and chocolate!!)
The rooms are spacious and airy and clean - most rooms have a nice balcony, overlooking the resort or the back streets. The bathroom has a bath and shower. There is a safety deposit box (€10 deposit, €12 hire charge)
There is wifi in the bar area of the hotel for free. It is quite slow though, but perfect for a quick Facebook update.
There is a couple of small supermarkets near the hotel - perfect for grabbing quick things. In the resort, there are 2 larger Eroski supermarkets for all your needs.
The hotel is on a hill, and those with a wheelchair will find it slightly hard going.

what a wonderful hotel. extremely friendly staff. Excellent choice of food which changes daily. Lovely suite with great views. Caters perfectly for adults with and without children. Good location and close to everything. would highly recommend to anyone. We arrived at 1-30 a.m. and they had left in our room a supper of salad and meats with fruit and bread. Very thoughtful.
We didn't go all inclusive at this hotel (though a lot of the other guests did) and didn't use the restaurant at all but it was a good base for our holiday, the room was clean and a good size and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, especially in giving us information about heading to Palma. We are two friends who just wanted a cheapish getaway to relax and we got exactly that. The beach is a lovely little cove very close to the hotel. This is not really a party place (Magaluf is not far away if that's what you're after) though there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from (and don't forget to walk further into Santa Ponsa although you do lose the sea views!) We took the 102 bus to Palma one day to do some sightseeing and the Cathedral is beautiful and definitely worth a visit.

Very popular with British families, Santa Ponsa, on the southwest coast of the island, is a purpose-built resort set on a bay of fine white sand and shallow warm water. Quieter at night than its neighbouring resorts, Magaluf and Palma Nova (both approximately five kilometres east), Santa Ponsa is still close enough to enjoy their family attractions by day.
