Was very nice.

Posted 07-Sep-2014
The toilet was not cleaned thoroughly after lifting the lid . It wasn't horrible but should have been cleaned and the second night we stayed there was only one large towel for two people....

Nicest place in the Espanola Valley

Posted 05-Aug-2014
Pros: Cleanliness, customer service.
Cons: If there is anything I'd the needs attention is to provide a swimming pool and hot tub. this is very necessary to keep guests coming back.
Location: As a faithful person, I enjoy the Santuario De Chemayo just down the road. I otherwise dont care for Espanola. Visiting Santa Fe and Taos are nice.
We were visiting unfortunately for a funeral so didn't get to spend much time at the hotel other than to sleep. This is our 3rd time staying here, the building condition, cleanliness, and sense of safety always exceeds or expectations.

Nice hotel near many points of interest

Posted 09-Jul-2014
Pros: Many activities on site and off site to choose from
Cons: Room service
Location: Nearby, drive to Taos, Nambe Falls, Bandalier Park, Chimayo just to name a few.
Spent and entire week there for a family reunion. The staff was very friendly in all aspects of service, from the front desk to the housekeepers. A casino for gaming is on the property along with a bowling alley. We had a great time.

Missing the basics

Posted 09-Jun-2014
Cons: Add internet, pool and free breakfast.
No Internet, No pool, No breakfast. I didn't read the details of the room before making my reservation. I just assumed that these basics can be found at every hotel nowadays. Alas, no.

A week in Espanola at the Santa Claran

Posted 23-Apr-2014
Cons: Having a refrigerator in the room was handy, but having a small microwave would have been helpful, also.
Excellent experience there. It is a good location for visiting Santa Fe, Taos and the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant has a varied menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner to please all tastes .

Poor Choice - Do Not Recommend

Posted 24-Mar-2014
Pros: Can't say it was worth the money. Next time I'll choose the cheap room at Days Inn or Rodeway.
Cons: Everything.
Location: I was there on business.
Very disappointed with this hotel. Could not get anything to eat unless I wanted a hamburger or...a hamburger and a cigarette to go with it. Advertised WiFi, but you had to sit in the 2nd floor lobby - none in your room. No tub - only a shower. Lighting in the bathroom was horrid. You couldn't apply makeup in there, and unfortunately, there was no other mirror in the room. All in all, I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are a smoking, drinking, gambler.
