The hotel was nice and the staff friendly. I particularly appreciate the desk clerk that checked me out (forgot his name but it was a four or five letter uncommon name). They need more employees like him.
Comfortable bed, renovated hotel in a contemporary style, free tea and coffee/wifi/parking
There was a leak in our bathroom that was fixed promptly. However the staff did give us an option to upgrade our room if it was still causing a problem (it didn't)
Nice outdoor setting with seating areas, pool and hot tub.
You can hear airplanes overhead from SJC - didn't bother me but did wake up my husband who is a light sleeper
I think this has to be rated in its category, which is "budget next to the airport hotel" in an area with many extremely expensive options. It was clean and the staff was nice and helpful. It is a basic "budget motel" room but clean and so on. There is a simple breakfast (cereal, small pastry, coffee).
My husband and I stayed in a high rise suite here after our wedding. This room had everything we needed and more. There was a full kitchen, plenty of outlets for all of our electronics, and a huge flat screen TV. But above all, the standout feature is their buffet breakfast - this is included with the room and top notch.
One other bonus - the hotel is nestled within a quiet community of single family homes which was very pleasant and peaceful.
Pros: Top notch buffet breakfast, quiet, great location, full kitchen, plenty of outlets.
Cons: The room was said to be recently remodeled; however the bathroom felt outdated - only one bar to put your toiletries and the towels are located in the shower.
"Functional and efficient for business in Cupertino"
I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. It's a pretty straightforward place: a good room. Renovation of the second floor was going on when I was there, but I didn't notice any noise or other disturbances from it. The plumbing was a little worn, but functional. The breakfast options were more extensive than I expected, and definitely made my mornings easier. If you need to stay in Cupertino for business, then you would be well-served by using the Woodcrest.
Upon entering Mission Santa Clara de Asís, visitors marvel at its painted ceilings, gold accents, and carved wooden statues. The mission is in the heart of Santa Clara University, California’s oldest university. Located minutes from the Mineta San Jose International Airport, Santa Clara also hosts the Intel Museum, the Triton Museum of Art, and California’s Great America amusement park.
