This hotel was so lovely! The ambiance was very modern and upscale, everything was very clean, the breakfast was AMAZING ( and we ate dinner in the restaurant too - very yummy with great views) and the staff was fantastic - very helpful above and beyond arranging a Sunday wine tasting for us. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the Belvedere Hotel!!! Superb location, beautiful view right on the sea, A very nice sandy beach right at the hotel and their breakfast was wonderful. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and service we received. Everyone was very kind, and we especially enjoyed our breakfasts, always served with a smile and by day 2 they knew our orders perfectly, all while overlooking the beautiful sea. We highly recommend this hotel!!!

The reception people are amazing and very helpful. Unfortunately visiting in March there was really nowhere to eat except the hotel. It was okay but a little pricey in my opinion. The view from the hotel is spectacular, especially the rooftop terrace ☺️

A wonderful gem of a stay
This was an amazing stay. The room was clean and up to date. In a summer resort town, we were there in October (shoulder season). You would think the staff would be minimal, but not so. They were in full force ready to assist. The dinner and breakfast were superb! The surrounding scenery of the Adriatic and the coastal vies were great. I would come back here in again.

An excellent hotel with very friendly staff
I was a little apprehensive before arriving at Hotel Belvedere: the reviews were excellent, it wasn’t booked up and it was great value. It seemed almost too good to be true. I needn’t have worried. The staff were wonderful, the hotel is comfortable, spotless and has a cool 1960s Miami vibe, and it was indeed excellent value. Torre Dell’Orso is a beach town with a very good beach, a few decent pizzerias, bars and gelaterias. It’s a very convenient spot from which to explore Otranto, Gallipoli and beautiful coastline.

Perfect location overlooking the beach, minutes from bars and restaurants The reception team especially Vanessa were very helpful providing advice on Covid testing and making calls. Excellent restaurant and on street parking great all round choice

A unique position with views across the bay. Comfortable rooms most with amazing views and excellent food. Really exceptionally helpful front desk staff, we were given a room upgrade and late check out. The hotel is perfect for exploring the area or a holiday just in Torre dell Orso, the magnificent beach is 5 minutes walk. Parking is on the streets around the hotel but is easy and the hotel provides parking permits. It would have been great if the hotel restaurant had been serving food outside, the food was excellent but the room lacks some atmosphere in the evening although during the day it has wonderful views.

Absolutely amazing hotel! After a 2.5 drive, it was lovely to be greeted by the friendly staff, who promptly offered us glasses of Prosecco. As it is the off season, most of the town was shut down. However, we were completely happy to sit at the gorgeous hotel bar, over looking the stunning beach.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views of the sea. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Great bathroom. The staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. The waiters in the restaurant were great. Only downside is that the music from the beach can be loud at night.

Welcoming, efficient and clean, but there is no beach and the rooftop pool is really tiny, being only about 5 metres long. The public beach is staggeringly crowded, and the "lido" beaches are very, very noisy with shatteringly loud music. Overall I wouldn't recommend this as a place to stay despite the great staff and good food.

Main Hotel was excellent but we were given a room in the "Dependency: and we were not pleased with it. We were not aware of the fact that it said "Annex" on our confirmation as we didn't read it thoroughly. Although very clean, the room was very small and dark and not in the same category as the rooms in the main hotel. We felt we grossly overpaid for this type of accommodation. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and the amenities in the main hotel were wonderful. We enjoyed many excellent meals at the restaurant.

Everything was wonderful!, Great location and only steps to beach. Beware when you select room type...I was informed when I got to hotel that I was in annex room (down the street) and had to pay a premium to upgrade to hotel room. It was a bit costly but we got a wonderful ocean view room with balcony. Only drawback was that the town pretty much shut down for summer on Sept 17. Thus only a handful of restaurants remained open (minimal selection). Beautiful little beach town. Will definitely return!

Lovely hotel in the heart of this beachside community, with absolutely fabulous staff, excellent restaurant and magnificent views from the rooftop sun-lounging oasis with jacuzzi plunge pool—an excellent alternative to the beach at your feet. The friendliness and service was absolutely excellent. Thank you to Alex but specially to Francesco for their in valuable, patient and selfless help and advice. Rooms do not have luxurious facilities, but are very clean and comfortable and a great base to explore the area. I would say that the hotel is quite upmarket compared to other places in the area. The views from the hotel and many rooms are gorgeous. Thank you to the management for upgrading us after the first night without us even asking: very thoughtful of the hotel’s management team. Breakfast was good but what one would expect in most of Italy. They helped us a lot in finding a safe parking space near the hotel every single time. Good nightlife and very happening in the summer.

The hotel had a great location with fantastic views especially from the roof top pool. The staff were really helpful. They arranged a late check out for us at no additional charged and provided us with drinks and snacks for our journey to the airport. The restaurant was very reasonably priced for food of such a good standard. The restaurant even provided a menu in English and some staff spoke English very well, a rarity in this area! Staff were very helpful with parking and we never had any problems. The management and reception staff are fantastic. We would highly reccomend this hotel loacted on a beautiful beach with crystal clear sea.

Great Hotel with a Fantastic Manager
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Belvedere in large part thanks to the above and beyond service and recommendations provided to us by the hotel manager, Francesco. The hotel amenities were top notch and my wife and I LOVED the continental breakfast with such a wide range and quality foods. The rooftop patio and pool area was very sleek, modern, and provided a lovely view of the beach and surrounding area. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the sights and attractions of Torro del Orso including the Grotto de Poesia. We loved our stay here and would gladly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the area.

This is a great hotel in an excellent location. However, when we stayed (Mid May) the 'season' was only just beginning with the result that the town was very quiet and little in the way of restaurants was open making eating in the hotel a necessity rather than a choice. That said the food was good but a little expensive. In addition, at breakfast, we found it surprising that hot food was put out on the buffet but with no heat under it to keep it warm whilst the cold foods (dairy) was not put on ice nor kept in a fridge. For a * hotel we found this unacceptable. Staff very helpful and friendly and the décor everywhere immaculate. Beaches great and in easy walking distance. parking just outside.

Just perfect in all respects
I did a 5-day trip around Puglia spending my last Lufthansa Senator Miles for the flight. Two nights at bellissima Belvedere Hotel in Puglia. It was one of the most pleasant hotels for quite a while: just perfect in each respect. Front desk friendly service, good breakfast buffet, rooftop pool overlooking the long white sand beach going shallow into the Adriatic Sea. Did not try the hotel restaurant. Found outstanding seafood and frutte di mare in nearby San Foca. This hotel and the team deserves - without any doubt - the highest possible rating. I have no idea how that is still valid in high season, but it is certainly worth a try. In summary: truly excellent

The hotel Belvedere is a modern hotel near the beach. The rooms are comfortable, ours had a nice sea view. The staff were especially helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were especially helpful with the storage of our bikes. I also mislaid my bike helmet which was found and returned.

Without a doubt one of our best hotel discoveries - great sea views from your bed, friendly and welcoming staff, great breakfast with fresh fruit - The Belvedere exceeded our expectations on all counts. The best rooms are 205 or 213, or when you prefer a quet room in the middle of summer 214.

Hotel close to the town and beach with sea views
The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly whilst at the same time being efficient at their respective jobs, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The views across the bay were delightful, car parking was, at the time of year we stopped, easy and plentiful.

Beautifully situated hotel with excellent service
We had a great stay at this beautifully situated hotel. But what makes it stand out is the excellent staff who go out of their way to welcome you and make your stay as lovely as possible. We really appreciated francesco at the front desk particularly his help with our 'parking issue' at the end of our stay- he really put himself out and resolved everything efficiently. It was a lovely surprise to receive a bottle of prosecco and platter of fresh fruit on my husbands birthday- can only assume cleaning staff noticed the cards in our room and passed this on. It's the little touches like this that make this hotel stand out so thank you for a lovely stay!!
