"Front desk and gift shop staff were incredible. The lodge and room were both beautiful. Electric fireplace was such a nice addition and the heat aspect of it can be turned off if you just want the ambience. The outside grounds and gardens were great. Beyond Bread inside the hotel seemed expensive at first glance but the size and deliciousness of the menu items match up to it. The bread is fresh. The covered parking is a little tight — my Corvette struggled to maneuver around in there. No worries — plenty of parking outside. A compact car would have no issues in there. There are water conservation steps in place for Summerhaven. If you’re from Arizona like us this might be something you’re used to. If not — they’re posted everywhere and you should heed them! It’s a small thing you can do so that places like this can continue to operate. :)"

"We absolutely loved our stay! This was truly one of the best Vrbo experiences we’ve ever had.The home was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered—even binoculars and a telescope were provided for stargazing, which was such a fun and unique touch. The property itself is stunning, with a huge wraparound deck where we spent so much time enjoying the incredible views. It felt so upscale and cozy at the same time. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and detail into the home and want their guest to feel comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. If you’re hesitant about booking because the owners live on the property, don’t be. They are some of the kindest people we’ve met and are incredibly respectful of your privacy. It genuinely felt like we had the entire place to ourselves, while knowing they were nearby if we needed anything.Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Between the beautiful home, breathtaking scenery, thoughtful amenities, and wonderful hosts, this was a perfect getaway. We genuinely can’t wait to come back and would recommend this without hesitation!"

"This was a much needed quick 2 night get-away and was everything we hoped for! The house is the perfect “cabin in the woods” and comes with a large, comfortably shaded deck to sit and enjoy a good book and soak up the Mt Lemmon ambience and 75 degree weather. The furnishings indoors were extremely comfortable and welcoming and maintained that cabin feel. It is a perfect location to celebrate Christmas or even Christmas in July!"

"Nice cabin within walking distance of Summerhaven, as long as you can handle the very steep hill. Kitchen is sufficient, bring your own pots and pans if you plan on doing any real cooking. Nice space on the porch with great views. Beds aren't particularly comfortable but they're not horrible."

"This was a wonderful house for the multi-generational group that we had. The wifi worked very well and the staff was very fast in responding to a small issue. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was more than adequate. The only thing that I would warn about is the amount of stairs. It will not work well for a person with mobility issues."
