Spent a few nights this week at the hotel. Lovely staff, wonderful grounds, great room, and excellent service from the hotel, spa, and restaurant staff. I travel to Santa Barbara regularly and will stay here again without a doubt.
This is a quaint luxury hotel just off the 101 in southern Santa Barbara. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms are very clean and have luxurious appointments. This is a perfect place for a quiet romantic getaway.
Nice victorian style hotel in a small town. Room is clean, and spacious. Staffs are friendly. The only part of improvement needed is the meal, although the breakfast is complimentary, the options are very limited, too many sweet, unhealthy, and high carb items.
Tucked between the Santa Ynez mountains and the Pacific Ocean lies the chic palm-lined city of Santa Barbara. Known as the American Riviera, it boasts over 300 days of sunshine each year, has beautiful beaches and stacks of striking Spanish colonial architecture, and makes an ideal destination for your big day.
Santa Barbara has an abundance of accommodation which caters for weddings, from elegant three- and four-star inns with views of the ocean to luxury hotels with swanky spas and fine-dining restaurants.
For upscale wedding hotels in stylish Mediterranean-style villas, head to the upmarket suburb of Montecito, also home to the grand gated estates of the rich and famous. Or head a few miles east to Goleta for fashionable ocean-view hotels with full wedding facilities.
If you book a hotel in downtown Santa Barbara, you'll also have easy access to the iconic Mission Santa Barbara, a stunning pink-and-white 18th-century church built by Spanish missionaries. Many of the city's four- and five-star hotels offer spas, infinity pools and wedding catering, as well as essentials such as babysitting services and airport transfers.
One of the best reasons to get married in Santa Barbara is its proximity to some of California's finest beaches. Book a hotel in the streets around downtown or Santa Barbara Zoo and you'll be a short hop from both East Beach and West Beach, as well as Stearns Wharf, the city's historic wooden pier-turned-entertainment and dining hub.
Or head 11 miles east to the sleepy surf town of Carpinteria, and have your wedding photos taken on the legendary Santa Clause Beach.
For a different wedding experience, drive 30 miles northwest of downtown to the Santa Ynez Valley, also known as the Santa Barbara Wine Country thanks to its many excellent vineyards. A popular place for a quirky wedding is in the quaint town of Solvang, which has several hotels and a long Danish heritage with a Scandinavian appeal.
