The property was nice , most staff were polite . I was dissatisfied that there is no room service , I ordered and canceled but they called and said food was ready for pickup . Room service should be available with time restrictions . That was the only disappointment. The facilities is nice and room was great .

A three start hotel masquerading as four/five star. Great location, but a badly maintained property, managed by unfriendly staff. The outside paint was old, and the inside hallway stank of mold and cigarette smoke from bygone era. The hotel was half empty, but they refused to change the room. The room assigned to us faced the railroad tracks, which meant frequently whistling Amtrak trains. Unfortunately, it was very windy outside, so naturally the unkept tree branches kept scratching on the window pane....a great way to be woken up in the middle of the night.

Great piece of real estate. The property needs an overhaul. They already know this but it needs to be gutted and remodeled.

Exceptional property. Only downside was $40 parking fee (self park) per night as well as $35 resort fee per night - ouch! It was a really nice, well staffed, maintained and comfortable resort and I’d stay again if in SB (i just don’t plan to park there!!)

Went here during a storm, beautiful regardless, oceanfront and majestic. So want to come back during the Summer. Staff were excellent, even reopened the restaurant so my daughter and I could get a late breakfast. Definitely coming back.

We really enjoyed our ocean view. Even thought it rained, the view of the ocean from our room made it feel so calm and peaceful. I really suggested that you do take the splurge and get a room with an ocean and balcony view.

Property wasn’t as we expected as we’ve stayed there several times before, but this time around many amenities were out of order such as the car charger and jacuzzi. In addition, housekeeping did not come by our hotel room to clean during our two night stay. Hotel seemed understaffed during our stay for several areas.

It is great property but…
It is ok experience. It’s a girl’s trip. We picked this hotel because thought they had a pool and hot tub for us to relaxing. When we picked the hotel a night before it did not mention the pool is being renovated. The phone isn’t working in the room, and the bathroom toilet making noise every 10 min.

Post Christmas Get Away
It is a lovely expansive resort within walking distance of the Funk Zone and walks along the beach. They were doing pool/patio renovations so no access to pool area. No discount on Resort Fee due to limited access. They were completely booked and under staffed (normal these days). Would skip buffet breakfast and head to Funk Zone. It was obvious they were in the middle of renovations as there were unfinnished bathroom accessories such as missing towel hooks. That all being said, it was a nice place for a large group stay.

We found couple hair in unused towel. The property pool and hot tub were closed for using but no any other complimentary for such inconvenience. The hotel room is not available by check-in time at 4 PM. There were many homeless around hotel property not feeling safe to walk around as the hotel is not gated. To sum, this hotel is not worth the price you pay. I will never visited again.

Santa barbara stay!
The facilities are very nice. Quiet and relaxing. I just wish they keep up with maintenance the rooms. The mattress were already worn out on one side. The service food needs to have more attention. They have only one person at the coffee stand and everybody was waiting more than usual. The food at the restaurant was very good!

Check in said to be from 4:00 but we were still waiting to get in at that time. Next day no one cleaned the room. No concierge on duty the whole time we were there, and long line up at breakfast with no one at the stand for over 10 minutes. Clearly an understaffed hotel yet this is one of the most expensive hotels in Santa Barbara!

Honestly, more is expected from a place like this. Poor water pressure, filth and dirty plates left in the hallways for several days, poor wifi, excessive parking fees for self-parking... felt very much like we were being nickeled and dimed despite being in a Hilton.

Just right across the sea, close to many places, you can rent a free bike or chair. Very friendly staff. I would give an excellent rating to the staff. Very easy to check in and check out, and they made an effort to make your stay comfortable. Tesla charging was free, rooms were very spacious, and our room was facing the parking lot and mountains, it was convenient to us, as we could charge our car and enter our room from the balcony side of the parking lot. Truly enjoyed.

Cleanlines is poor because a lot of ants here and there. Staff and service at the front desk are great. They are helpful and nice. But I give it average because the agent who answer phone calls for help is not good. She cheat on some information. The condition and facilities are poor because a lot of them are not available compared to what it shows online. The location is good though.

Check in "starts" at 4:00 and we still didn't have our room at 4:00. They positively boasted that their pool and hot tub were closed for upgrading, but "lucky us" we had the beach across the street! Peeling wallpaper in places, otherwise cavernous hallways and reception with no soul or life.

This isn’t well advertised, but the pool and hot tub are closed until April 2024. The staff at the hotel are so polite and apologetic. They were great. The first room we had smelled of dog pee and had dog food on the floor. We were moved to a second room and we realized at night the air did not work. It was 80 degrees in our room. They offered to switch us again the next day, but we had already unpacked and didn’t want to move with two kids. The Fess Parker tasting room is closed, as is several other on site amenities. Location is great, but hotel price wasn’t worth it. Not sure what resort fees went to when most things were closed.

Had to wait forever to check in. Our rooms were not adjoining despite request. Our rooms were not cleaned despite repeated requests. My sons’ rooms had ants. Have stayed here for 15 years when visiting family for Christmas but will never return.

When checked in only one person helping at reception. It was raining and we were sent to walk 10 minutes to our room out in the rain Without any ride or help with directions to get to the room.
