Upon arrival we were informed that the hotel was overbooked and that our king bed room was not available, instead we were put into a two queen room which resulted in my husband and I sleeping in separate beds (they weren’t comfy). On our second night our room phone rang three times at 11pm and again at 415 AM (I picked up but no one was there). I unplugged the phone but was very unsettled by the whole experience. I informed the front desk at our checkout. While the hotel was nice, we most likely won’t return due to neighbor noise, phone issues, room being oversold, and uncomfortable beds.

Did not get the room we paid for. We paid for a room with a balcony and did not get one. Staff were not helpful. Besides that room is ok. Some of the usb chargers don’t work in the room.

We have stayed at several hotels in the area and so far this is the best. For the location and the price, it is going to be hard to beat. We enjoyed our spacious room, being able to bring our dog, the filtered water in the fitness center, and the free daily breakfast. The location is perfect for us to be close to our daughter at UCSB, downtown Santa Barbara and local beaches. The neighborhood has the old town vibe and is very safe. We enjoyed walking to get coffee, donuts and dinner. Next time we stay here I will ask for a 3rd floor room because it was very noisy at night and hard to sleep at times. Staff was helpful but not exactly "friendly".

Nice hotel for traveling with a dog. Next to a community center with pickleball courts. Played pickleball for two hours as a single with local players who were all very nice.

Overall the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The staff did not seem trained and during peak times only had 1 staff member. My key didn’t work and I had to wait over 30 minutes for a checkin to get a new key.

Check in time is 3 PM. When I got to the hotel, they informed me that my room would not be ready because they were sold out and had no other rooms to give me so I waited in the lobby for two hours while I did some laundry with their pay machines that were an absolute nightmare to work out Later on around 9 o’clock there was raging parties above me. I couldn’t hear myself think I complain. Several times the front desk told me there was nothing they could do??? I had to go up to the second floor, myself and scream please turn down your music , finally around 1030 things quieted down. I asked the front desk person to have the manager reach out to me regarding these issues and I never heard back I called plane to hotels.com. I wanted my points back that I used for that evening never heard back yet, but I’m expecting to , I never normally complain about much but the attitude the front desk was very dismissive and rude and condescending not OK

Overall very good- convenient, generally clean, breakfast wasn’t bad for this type of hotel , beds comfortable, and good coffee offered round the clock was fantastic. A couple of things not so good - there was an unpleasant smell coming from bathroom which made whole room smell off , the shampoo container was empty and wasn’t refilled . We were not told upon check in that the room would not be cleaned unless we requested it the night before . Since we checked in very late and left the room the next morning and didn’t come back till late , we found the room dirty which was an unpleasant surprise .

What really bothers me about this stay is one, when I checked in the person at the front desk was in the backband had to wait for them. Then they asked for my CC and ID. Then they tell me to run my own CC. Why do hotels ask for my CC if they are to lazy to swip it? I asked the guy at the front and his only answe is idk. Sigh.. Second issue is someone began playing very loud music in the room next to me. I called the front desk and asked what the policy is on quiet hours. They said they dont have one. 2 minutes later they called back, tried to answe from the phone and it didnt work but suddenly the music stopped. Last issue is, please get desent pillows, like just some with support.
