I visited Sant Antoni at the end of season when the town was winding down from another busy summer. The cafes and bars were allot quieter than they generally are, but this only added to the appeal of this sleepy seaside town. There are plenty of seaside activities and day trips in and around Sant Antoni, and Hotel Puchet is a perfectly conveniently placed to access anything in the town or the slightly busier bay itself.
Lovely hotel, stayed before but new owners have improved the hotel whilst still keeping the costs down. New owners are so friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean with great amenities! Can't wait to come back!
Lovely accommodating staff that were always friendly and willing to help. Clean room, restaurant, pool area etc. Good variety of food, wasn't a single meal where either of us went hungry, and with the great snack bar aswell we were very happy. Will definitely be using Azuline hotels in the future!
Room and hotel were clean and comfortable. Good wifi in lobby but no wifi in rooms. Don't stay in room 101?, the one above the reception because noises from the restaurant and guests in the morning will wake you up. We were given a different room upon request though which was good.
You wont be able to bring friends back to your room, day or night, unless they are also staying at the hotel.
Included breakfast 8am-10.30am was minimal, cereal, bread cheese and ham, croissant, coffee ,tea. I found myself having to wait for a bowl/ plate on a few occassions.
Overall ,a quiet and clean hotel but not one to stay in if you want friends to visit or wifi in rooms.
First time staying here and it's pretty good. I was meant to be staying elsewhere but there was a mixup with my itinerary so Expedia put me here instead. It was more than enough space for me and could've housed 4 people as there were 2 bedrooms and 4 beds. Also had 2 spacious balconies, 1 with a great view of town and the bay. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything I needed to cook. 1 drawback was the wifi being pretty non-existent, though I got lucky and found another signal in the evening hours. Overall it was proper.
Modern and easy to access Apartamentos Tramuntana are a convenient accommodation in Sant Antoni de Portmany in Ibiza for …More
Hotel was really clean and tidy and nice and modern.
Location in terms of being by the little beach is spot on. The pool area was lovely, I spent everyday there and didn't bother with the beach. there was a DJ everyday by the pool but it wasn't a rowdy party scene or anything.
The only downside to my stay was My room was right by the staircase on the first floor so when people were coming in/going out all you could hear were heals and flip flops thumping up and down.
One more annoying thing, not with this hotel but my room was right above the entrance which is opposite the playa bella hotel which has live entertainment every night in the form of the cheesey 90's style entertainment including bingo and bands singing cringeworthy songs. But I suppose most beach star guests would be out elsewhere and hopefully avoiding that.
Other than that I cannot fault the beach star, everything inside the hotel was perfect for me.
Around the hotel there is a strip of shops/bars/restraunts (the usual gift shops/supermarkets and pubs showing football and English soaps and xfactor, which did end up being a bit 'same old' after a couple of nights) one place called relish which is down one of the side streets is really nice for night time dinner.
There is a taxi boat near by that goes back and forward to San Antonio for a change of scenery which only cos a few euros.
Pocket Guide: Ibiza Island Sant Antoni de Portmany Hotels
San Antonio Abad is the island’s second largest resort. Attracting families and young clubbers, it offers a variety of water sports from its numerous small beaches. Nearby, the beaches at Cala Conta are some of the island’s best. On the north side of the bay, densely-developed San Antonio is the Med’s central party zone, famous for its rave clubs and blazing sunsets. The top pre-clubbing hang out is the legendary and original Café del Mar.
