Comfortable 2 Bedroom Apartment. Located on a Very Peculiar Street

Apartment in Sanlucar de Barrameda with kitchen
Comfortable 2 bedroom apartment. Located in a very peculiar and famous street in Sanlúcar. In the heart of the city, very close to the Plaza del Cabildo, known for its variety of typical taverns where you can enjoy a glass of Manzanilla.
It is located in the heart of the city, near the Plaza del Cabildo, known for its variety of famous typical taverns where you can enjoy a glass of Manzanilla. 24 hours in Sanlúcar de Barrameda Puerta de América After the discovery of the New World, Sanlúcar becomes a port of reference, leaving Christopher Columbus on his third voyage and Magellan and Juan Sebastián Elcano on the first circumnavigation voyage, entering the state of greatest economic peak in its history thanks to the promotion of commercial activity between America and the port of Seville fostered by the Dukes of Medina Sidonia. Breads and things to put on top We start the day enjoying the morning atmosphere in the Barrio Bajo, very close to the food market (c / Traspuesta s / n), in its surroundings stands of vegetables, sweets and other products, inside magnificent stalls of fish and seafood and olives. But first you have to have breakfast, on the same street as the Pozo cafeteria, where you can order any type of bread or muffin and anything to put on top of it. In the nearby Plaza de San Roque there are also bars where you can have coffee, and in addition to heading towards the Plaza del Cabildo you can see three tiles commemorating the first round-the-world trip by boat of Magallanes and Elcano (c / Isaac Peral). Up the Belén hill you go up to the Barrio Alto, the first thing you see is Las Covachas (15th century) built by order of the II Duke of Medina Sidonia. It is made in the late Gothic style and consists of a porticoed gallery inserted in the wall. . Later you will see the Auditorio de la Merced, former convent of the s. XVII, and from there you reach the Palacio de Orleáns Borbón (s. XIX) summer residence of the Dukes of Montpensier and current Town Hall. The next stop at the Church of Nuestra Señora de la O, in the Gothic-Mudejar style of the s. XIV, and in the same square the Medina Sidonia Palace, residence of the Dukes of Medina Sidonia, declared a Monument of Historical-Artistic Interest. It contains the archive of the so-called "Red Duchess", Isabel Álvarez de Toledo, considered one of the best historical archives in the world. It houses an inn and a cafeteria, from where to contemplate wonderful views of the mouth of the Guadalquivir and the Doñana Natural Park. We continue towards the castle of the s. XV, where the Catholic Monarchs stayed on their visit to the city and from where the Catholic queen contemplated the sea for the first time. And it is time to have a drink, because in front of it there are the Barbadillo wineries with guided tours where you can taste some local wine and in it the Manzanilla Museum, nothing better than visiting it to whet your appetite. Going down from the Barrio Alto on foot, you can easily reach Bajo de Guía, next to the river, a pleasant walk in front of the Doñana National Park (Visitor Center "Ice Factory" - Bajo de Guía). The entire natural environment of the park offers places to visit and enjoy. With prawns and galleys ... the chamomile Precisely in Bajo de Guía you will find the best restaurants in the city, with incredible views and an enviable gastronomic variety: the prawns and the galleys, typical of this area, and which resemble the Norway lobsters, from Casa Bigote, the se seafood stews of Joselito Huerta, the fish, the seafood rice dishes from the Mirador de Doñana, all watered with chamomile. Consult the Gastronomic Guide It would be good to rest your food, the best thing to do is to go on a 4x4 excursion to the Park or by boat on the Royal Ship Fernando Viajes Doñana. You have to have 3 and a half hours for either option. The most traditional sanluqueñas patisseries are located in the Barrio Bajo where you can buy the delicious oil cakes (Bollería La Merced-c / Ancha, 72), or try the rondeña (La Rondeña-Avda. De la Rondeña s / n), a small cake stuffed with angel hair that this company created; and what to say about the delicious sky bacon !! (Dominican Convent- c / Ruiz de Somalia, 1). You can also have a delicious ice cream in one of the most traditional ice cream parlors in the city. If there is one activity that characterizes this city, these are Horse Racing on the Bajo de Guía beach during the month of August; These have been held for more than 160 years; Today it is a tourist attraction that attracts thousands of people, including many personalities, to enjoy an unforgettable moment, horses running along a beach while the sun goes down, for something they are considered of International Tourist Interest. The best tapas In the Cabildo square and surroundings there are many places to taste a whole range of gastronomic varieties, in an old grocery store later converted into a tavern and today a benchmark in the tapas of this city, Casa Balbino (Plaza Cabildo ), Also in the square is La Gitana with a magnificent menu of seafood stews. Nearby is Barbiana (c / Isaac Peral, 1), another historic center that, in addition to good seafood and fish, offers own-grown chamomile. For a change, in the Bar Juanito (Plaza de San Roque) the dishes are more meat, like the Iberian pork sirloin. Another proposal would be to dine tapas in the Andalusian patio of the Bodega La Cigarrera, (Plaza Madre de Dios) the oldest in Sanlúcar (1758).

Appartement très agréable, la petite terrasse pour prendre le petit-déjeuner est juste parfaite. L'équipement de l'appartement est impeccable. Un seul bémol, le lit deux places a un trou au milieu ce qui n'est pas du tout confortable.
