Wonderful hotel
This is a great old house lovingly refurbished and turned into a first-class hotel. It surprisingly has just 3 stars but is more of a 4.5 star hotel. The staff are all friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and bed most comfortable with a super bathroom. Complimentary tea, coffee and cake is served in the reception area in the afternoon. Guests are welcomed with a glass of champagne too. This is a wine-tasting hotel and their cellar is the perfect location for that. Of course most guests are there for the wine but we were just passing through - but that did not matter at all. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was really good. We were sad we had to leave the next day.
Pros: It was light and airy, lots of room, very friendly.
Location: The location Sankt Martin is lovely and rural. The hotel sits amongst the vineyards in a small village. Wine tasting is the thing to do here.
