There are trains (and hence train whistles) that run close to the property in the middle of the night. It wasn't too bad to deal with and we were still able to get a good night's sleep. We were there 6 days and it truly was peaceful and relaxing. It had all the amenities you may need in a vacation rental. I loved sitting in the rocking chair on the deck with my morning coffee. The little stream was peaceful and I loved the size of the lot to walk around. The back room was full of games and books and had an electric fireplace which added ambiance. That room was very bright, and had a cute sliding barn door. The bed was very comfortable and earplugs were provided for the train noise, although we didnt need them. :) I didnt even hear it that much. We were there looking for real estate, and lucky for us, Jenny is a real estate agent.! She showed us a property, and if we were staying longer, I am sure she would have got to show us more..:) We truly had a pleasurable time, Jenny and Tim were so nice and accommodating.
