I would not call this a hotel: it is more a holiday camp / bungalow campsite. We were there out of season but some amenities were still open and covid protection in place. Room heating didnt work.

Unbeatable spot but facilities can improve
Let me begin by saying that the location is superb. That stretch of Tuscan beach is second to none in its beauty. The personnel is nice and discreet. There is a nice, large pool area and a charming spa. We didn't use the restaurants other than one morning for breakfast (very basic and frankly a bit disappointing). As for the resort: I went there in 1991 to visit my parents and I can honestly say that there have been no noticeable upgrades to the rooms. From the outside, the bungalows are still a rather ugly block of concrete that poses such a striking contrast with the beauty of the landscape. A simply climbing ivy covering the outside walls would make such a difference. I can't speak for the inside of the bungalows because we were in the hotel portion of the resort. The part that I found most annoying was the fact that they charge for internet, which I refused to use. At a time when the smallest coffee shop in a remote area provides free WIFI to its customers, Riva Degli Etruschi, an upscale resort, asked for 3 Euro per hour, or 10 Euro per day (not sure about the numbers). I find it totally ridiculous.

Unexpected IMPRESSIVE FACILITIES
We used it just for overnight, in our way to "La Toscana", but we found a "Family Paradise", impressive RESORT, for Families, kids and young teenagers, seaside and tuscany forest, believe me, a worth while stop in your plans for the whole family. Restaurants really nice, rooms and apartments look like just cabins from outside, but very nice and clean inside. We'll come back to stay more days.

Great Famiy Getaway
Good clean place, not a luxury resort but very appropriate or a family vacation with exceptional value for the money. Reception staff are very friendly, make effort to speak in English slowly so that we understand. Mariana, a seafood restaurant within the resort offers exceptional dinners with a wide listing of Italian wines and a great crew of staff to serve. They even offer a 10% discount to resort guests. We ate there 3 out of 4 nights.

The perfect hotel for a family holiday.
Nice and quiet place to rest and sports. Pleasant atmosphere. Beach. Pool. Gym. Tennis courts. football field.

Warning if booking here via hotels.com
The night before departure we were contacted by expedia, who aparently manage the bookings for hotels.com to say there was a double booking. Cheap trick. We paid 100% upfront to avoid this. We had to stay next door 1st night. We went in the first morning to cancel our second night. No reply has been received from hotels.com, let alone a 50% refund. PLEASE TAKE CARE HERE.

Not worth the money
I think this hotel is a bit more like a 3-star hotel. The location of the property is lovely, but the hotel is built like a camping. You had to pay quite a lot of you wanted to play tennis or similar, which I usually find is included on 4-star hotels. Overall we thought everything was a bit overpriced for what you got.

Tutto perfetto e organizzato bene dalla colazione alla spiaggia, docce, piscine, parco... veramente un villaggio tranquillo e riposante. Stanze hotel un po' troppo piccole, con solo una sdraio nel balconcino, nessuna sedia in camera. Parcheggio vicino alle stanze, un plus.

Luogo (come sempre per noi che veniamo spesso) delizioso. Spiaggia e location magnifica. Condizioni dei servizi ridotte, personale affaticato e non sempre preparato anche solo nel fornire informazioni sulla struttura e sui servizi. Risposte rigide e burocratizzate sugli orari in cui lasciare le camere o stare al mare dopo checkout. Bar spiaggia senza prodotti. Al Mariva la sera 20.45 non ci hanno accolto per cena . Manca una seria formazione e organizzazione del personale salvo qualche eccezione di ottimo livello allla reception barche o direttore ristorante

C'è molto da migliorare
Dentro una enorme pineta, a ridosso di una spiaggia lunghissima di sabbia marrone, questo hotel diffuso è composto di decine e decine di bungalow, alcuni distanti altri vicinissimi alla spiaggia di diverse tipologie. La comfort è molto ben insonorizzata. Grande pecca, almeno per me, è la mancanza di tende oscuranti. All'alba si viene svegliati dalla luce. Idem, nel pomeriggio, niente riposo. Unico posto dove fare la colazione inclusa nel pacchetto, molto distante da metà almeno delle stanze. 3 o 4 ristoranti, nel villaggio, provati 2. Nessuno applica prezzi di favore per gli ospiti dell albergo e sono tutti molto cari. Il Mistral, sulla spiaggia, buono. Il Magu di buono fa solo le pizze, sulla cucina e il servizio stendiamo un velo pietoso. Punto a favore: esiste una piccola Coop all interno del complesso turistico, utile per i motivi detti , non solo a chi alloggia nel residence al di là della strada statale. Rapporto complessivo qualità prezzo, scadente.

Struttura stupenda poco sfruttata
Abbiamo soggiornato una notte di passaggio, per fare un giorno di mare. A tale scopo si è rivelata una struttura perfetta. Guardando la struttura si ha un senso di abbandono in quanto molti servizi (ristoranti e piscine) sono chiusi. Le camere sono in un bosco stupendo con accesso a mare molto comodo. Spiaggia bella e pulita. Poco personale rende tutto pesante è difficile chiedere qualsiasi informazione. Avere una risposta telefonica è impossibile

Wir haben den Aufenthalt am Strand sehr genossen, man hat genug Platz. Das Hotelzimmer befindet sich ca. 100 vom Strand entfernt. Das Zimmer ist recht klein, zum Schlafen ok.

Villaggio immerso nella natura
Siamo stati 2 notti a Maggio in questo bellissimo villaggio.la posizione è molto bella, vicino al mare ed immersa nella pineta mediterranea. Considerando la bassa stagione non tutte le strutture erano aperte, ma abbiamo trascorso 2 bellissime e rilassanti giornate.

Der Empfang ist sehr herzlich. Man war auch stets für Auskünfte bereit. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, die Anlage sauber. Pool für Klein und Gross ideal. Der Strand sauber und gepflegt, genug Platz.

Un mega resort su un mare stupendo
Una enorme struttura in una pineta e su una lunga spiaggia su un mare stupendo. Le stanze sono tutte in bungalow in muratura (sia quelle dell'albergo che gli appartamenti in affitto), ma attenzione, sono di diversa dimensione a parità di occupanti, anche se la cosa non mi pare sia segnalata da Expedia. La prima stanza che ci avevano dato era piccolissima, con un bagnetto in una specie di ripostiglio. Era anche invasa dalle formiche, per cui dopo qualche insistenza ci hanno cambiato stanza e la seconda era molto più confortevole e spaziosa. Per il resto ha tutto: animazione, fitness center, piscina, ombrellone e sdraie incluse nel prezzo. A proposito di prezzi: troppo elevati quelli del ristorante, il costo del menù dei pensionanti è comparabile ai ristoranti esterni, che offrono di più. La qualità è buona. Buono anche il self service, anch'esso costoso e un po' troppo mensa aziendale (ma si puo' mangiare fuori, su una terrazza sul mare .

Tranquillità e vicinanza al mare
molto riposo psico/fisico per uno che ha una vita molto attiva di lavoro e culturale. Non sempre cellulari e internet funzionano, migliorare la ricezione. Anche se si desidera il riposo è sempre utile rimanere in contatto con il "mondo". I giovani dovrebbero conoscere la storia e la bellezza di questo territorio italiano e quindi visitarlo con attenzione per se e per comunicarlo agli amici entro e fuori la "frontiera".

Für ein paar Nächte in der Vorsaison gerade so ok
Schon beim Einchecken bekommt man den Eindruck, man ist als Gast nicht besonders willkommen. Die Belegschaft macht allesamt und immer ein mürrisches Gesicht wie sieben Tage Regenwetter und wirkt ziemlich muffig (das ist uns an den Tagen in vielen Kaffees und Restaurants so gegangen - seit wann sind denn die Italiener so? Von Früher kennen wir das aber anders!). Die Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen. Zwar werden die Bungalows aktuell außen frisch gemacht und bekommen für den Saisonstart einen neuen Anstrich. Die Wege und sonstigen Einrichtungen lassen aber zu Wünschen übrig (z.B. fehlen Sitzgelegenheiten). Wir waren eine Gruppe von 7 Leuten; Abends vor dem Bungalow Picknick machen oder auf ein Glas Wein zusammen sitzen - geht nicht! SCHADE! Im Zimmer gibt es zwar einen Kühlschrank - aber es gibt keine Stühle oder Tische, damit man Brotzeit machen könnte. Das Frühstück ist eintönig, aber - wie gesagt - für ein paar Tage und zum Vorsaison-Preis - ok. Wir haben bei Coop etwas Wurst und Käse gekauft und einfach zum Frühstück mitgenommen! Vorsaison ist der Preis gerade noch ok gewesen, in der Hauptsaison aber völlig überteuert. Die Gegend ist halt traumhaft schön, im Ort San Vincenzo ist ordentlich was geboten!

Ottima posizione, struttura da rinnovare
Ritornato ancora una volta a Riva (ormai da piu di 30anni...) resto sempre convinto che la posizione, la spiaggia e la pineta siano davvero il plus inarrivabile di questo hotel/villaggio ma sia sempre più pressante l'esigenza di rinnovare la struttura (camere e villette). Qualcosa tuttavia si sta muovendo e il cambiamento sembra finalmente nell'aria (in alcune cose già iniziato). Vale comunque la pena soggiornarvi, specie se si è alla ricerca di pace, tranquillità e spiaggia magnifica a pochi passi dalle camere. Indicatissimo per famiglie con bimbi al seguito
