Nice hotel close to beach

Great room. Close to beach. A little cold but I think we could have turned on the heat.

All too brief stay at a very nice relaxing place

Posted 15-Apr-2016
We arrived late afternoon on Monday in mid April. Checking in we took a walk along the boardwalk to look for wildlife and we saw some seals. A short drive into downtown Cambria for supper and phone service was By a very nice dinner at a local Asian restaurant. Back in our room we enjoyed a comfortable evening. Sadly a family emergency caused us to cut short our stay but the gracious staff gave us a refund without question.

Cannot fault a thing with my stay, fabulous staff, accommodation and location. Only slight downside was lack of restaurants within walking distance.

Well located in Carmel

Posted 15-Mar-2016
Pros: The pillows and bed were very comfortable, good showers and breakfast was a welcome addition.
Cons: Possibly a bigger breakfast area.
Location: The Inn is a few streets away from Carmel Central where there would be three of every variety of shop one could need or want.
Great location and the room was spotless and good value for money.

Weekend at Cambria

Posted 14-Mar-2016
Pros: Nice comfortable room and great view. Reasonable rate.
Cons: Update room heater and modernize spa.
Location: About 1 mile from town of Cambria. Very relaxing environment.
I highly recommend this motel for a weekend get away. The room were clean and comfortable. The wall heater was old and had only two setting "On. and "Off"" Fortunately, the weather was mild and I didn't really need a heater. The spa was old but worked and felt refreshing. The grounds were great-- very well maintained. The surrounding view of the ocean was spectacular. They had a continental breakfast that was nice and better than most I've had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking lot is too small so get back early after dinner or you will park on the street. You can walk outside your room and you are only steps away from an ocean view.

Clean and comfortable

My partner usually complains about noise ...bed...temperature. ..etc. He slept like a baby and actually liked the hotel ... (a first !) I have paid way more for hotels that we ended up leaving after a few hours .

Nice hotel and close to beach

Posted 02-Mar-2016
Would definitely stay there again. The motel is older but it is well kept up and service was good and friendly. The best part is the beach being right across the street and able to see it when walk out the door or hear it with windows open.

Nice beach hotel close to town of Cambria

Posted 18-Feb-2016
Pros: clean comfortable rooms--pool, lawn chairs and tables, large grassy area with views of the ocean. ample breakfast, affordable price;
Location: hiking at Fiscalini Ranch; observing the elephant seal colony just north of San Simeon; picnic at Leffingwell Landing (part of San Simeon State Park)
close location to town of Cambria with its restaurants and shops; easy drive to San Simeon and only 30 minutes from Morro Bay. Expanded continental breakfast. We enjoyed lovely ocean views, morning and afternoon, sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the grass and perfectly landscaped grounds. Perfect walks along the Moonstone boardwalk and hiking in nearby Fiscalini Ranch.
