San Martín Holidays from £239

I missed the small letters telling me that I needed to contact the hotel to tell when I expected to be there (in previous cases I've received an e-mail, with that particular question so it was hard to miss). We ended up outside the hotel with no one there to receive us. After a confusing phone call we could use a room with a kitchen that was open instead, but he wanted 50 euros more for it. Not only did we get a downgrade from a two star double room to a one star room with a kitchen, but he was brave enough to ask for 50 euros too. Well, as the nice guys we are, we left the 50 but also this review. The rooms was not particularly clean and the free wifi was not to be found. The furniture's, inside and outside, where old and has seen better days years ago. If I knew that this stay would cost me over 100 euros, I would easily found another place without hesitation.

Fantastic breakfast and any easy walk to all that was interesting.

Very poor food.

Parking very poor- underground carpark on 3 levels badly lit with no signage to lift to hotel level . Room very small with poor lighting
