Where do I start. Finding the office was tricky and when calling front desk no one was answering. Once we found the office no one was there; someone eventually showed up. No smoke detector which was concerning to me. Shower head needs to be replaced. Overall, you get what you paid for.

We had to change rooms3x for a broken heater. The hair dryer did not work, requested a new one and never received it. They never came it to make up our room. I requested a refund for our 2 nights multiple times with no response. Curtains were broken.

Great value and a top notch service staff. My only complaint is that the pool and hot tub could use some maintenance, but this is my favorite place to stay in SLO!

I was injured on the property and the hotel's response was inadequate. The bathroom sink drain plug in my room was stuck and water filled up quickly. I tried to pull the drain plug up but it was chipped and a piece of metal stabbed my finger and metal was lodged under my fingernail. It was very painful and bleeding. My wife and I walked to the registration desk to ask for help. The first aid kit was old, with no antiseptic. The lady at the desk was nice but she said she was new there and started calling people while we just stood there. She said there was nobody who could fix the sink and handed us a band-aid box and said we could take one. She said we could stay in a new room and gave us a new key card. But then when we walked back to our first room to take out our belongings, that key card did not work since it had been deactivated. My wife called the front desk and there was no answer so she had to walk back to ask for a key that could open our first room so we could get our stuff out. Then, I had to cut off part of my fingernail, bleeding, and use tweezers to pull metal pieces out of my finger. I was supposed to receive a phone call from management by that night, but nobody called me. The new room had mold in the shower, a hard and lumpy bed, and scratchy blankets.

We stayed for one night, the room was so clean heater worked perfectly,in reality we were spectin less for the price but room impressed us blankets on the bed also Clean and warm, highly recommend this place guys.

COLD PIZZA
The microwave didn't work so I ate my pizza cold, the tv didn't work. They were willing to move me to another room. I am pretty sure will get fix. Love the reception and customer services.

I booked this hotel because it was close to downtown where I had a wedding to attend. My room was on the bottom floor with a window facing the street. There as a probably 12” diameter area of peeling paint in the bathroom above the toilet which would have been whatever. Unfortunately, my door was missing a latch lock. All that was functioning was the key card lock. I contacted staff immediately and requested they fix it. I called again and had a woman come to see that the lock was missing and told them I did not feel safe and would like it repaired before I got back from the wedding. Upon return, it was not repaired. I barricaded myself in with chairs for the night but was pretty disappointed about the lack of concern for my safety and comfort.

Poorly maintained property. There were cobwebs in the hallways with spiders that looked like its been there for awhile. The AC unit was missing a panel with knobs so I couldnt tell what the setting was. Staff didn't greet you as you walked in. The only plus is that it's near Cal Poly and available on family weekend.

Rooms were clean, but somewhat rundown. Some peeling paint in bathroom and mold beginning in a few areas of the tub caulk. No beverage cooler. Safe was locked and staff didn’t know how to open it. Said they were going to remove safes because they were too bothersome. Breakfast was minimal; prepackaged breads and coffee.

It is okay if you can handle some untidiness. The room looks a bit sloppy. I saw couple bugs on the floor, and hair in the bathtub. Overall, it could use some renovating.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The furniture looked like it came from a frat house. I didn’t want to sit on the bed or couch. If you’re 21 and under this is perfect.

The outside is very nice but our room was a bit worn. The air conditioner, carpet, shower doors old. Everything did work and appeared clean. We slept ok but mattress was old and could use a better cover and sheets.
