Dear James,The hot tub was only down for 1 week as we ordered an entire new heater for it. It is installed and rocking away currently. It was a bad time for it to go down though, we apologize.

This is adorable. As a history teacher, I am very impressed by the Mill- Such a neat aspect to be near. As a visitor, I am charmed by the sweet decor, the cleanliness and amount of work and care by the staff- everyone is really nice.

Hello Alexandria,Yes, our hot tub heater went out, unfortunately. These things are not forseen and we did not have a hot tub for our guests. A new heater was ordered and will be installed the day is arrives. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This is a very quaint Inn. The room I had was a single queen room. It was nicely decorated and was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower was very clean. I highly recommend this Inn. The price was $75 which scared me a little but the bang for the buck was amazing. Very welcoming great hospitality- warm chocolate chip cookie!

Nice stay except for the fact that the restaurant on the property was only open for breakfast. The front desk said they haven't returned to regular hours since COVID. I find it very strange that they haven't found a way after all this time to staff their Inn.

Dear Debra,Thank you for your review! Just so you are aware it is not a staffing issue for our restaurant, its a demand issue. Since Covid we have tried opening and there are not enough people coming to justify the labor spent to staff for lunch and dinner. We are working on other possibilities in the near future.Thank you

This hotel served it's purpose for our brief stay in San Luis Obispo. The room was a nice size and clean, though it smelled a little musty, the furniture is a bit dated, and the bathroom sink faucet needed some tightening. The complimentary cookies and wine tasting was a nice bonus, and my kid liked the water wheel, frog pond, and little wooden apple gift.

It is a cozy hotel, though, very dated. They do not have daily maid service, which I miss, I had to go to the front desk to ask for more towels, and to have the trash emptied and did that at 10 o’clock in the morning and it still wasn’t done by 4 o’clock in the afternoon.

The reason we do not offer daily turnover service is because still 90% of our guests do not want it. Adorable and quiet property located about a mile from the downtown area. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the activities (wine tasting, apple hunt) of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a bit outdated but that gives the places its charm, in my opinion. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Very nice property, easy access to downtown SLO. Spacious rooms with added touch of gas fireplace, sitting area, bottled water, comfortable bed. Did not eat at the restaurant. Went to wine tasting in the afternoon and bought a bottle of wine for our dinner there. Reasonably priced wines and reasonably priced rooms.

Expedia advertises breakfast. We were there Sunday night and left Monday morning. We were told they did not serve breakfast on Monday or Tuesday. We were given paper bag with a muffin, yogurt and orange for breakfast to go. The ad also shows a restaurant. The restaurant has not been open since the beginning of Covid according to the person at check in. We were told by many friends that the hotel had great food. Had we known the restaurant was not open we ever would have stayed there (We walked a block away to get our dinner). The room itself looked old and dated. There was a chip out of the floor by the entry way, The bathroom was very narrow. The space between the toilet and shower was very narrow and knees could almost touch the shower door. The space on either side of the bed was also very narrow for a king-sized bed. It was more appropriate for a queen-sized bed. This place was a waste of time and money. I would like a credit of refund for this stay. I have used Expedia for years and this is the first time I have had such a terrible experience.

Addressing the room, may I suggest making future reservations in our main inn. Rooms are more spacious than our motel-style trellis court rooms.Thank you for your feedback

The property itself was decent but the room felt like you were living in a house with a ton of people. The internet kept cutting in and out, you have a tv in the room but it kept turning off and cutting off the internet. Front desk was notified and the response was pretty much a your lucky it worked to begin with. Can hear the people upstairs banging around or even walking. If you have any work to do don’t count on it happening since the internet is awful.

Dear Anahid,We are sorry you had a bad experience. Our TVs are not currently set up for internet streaming channels. That is why it cuts in and out. We are working on adding this feature for our guests in the near future. As for the guests being loud, the hotel cannot 100% control this, but a call to the front desk would help. Felt more like home than a hotel, nice. Little small but works out for 1 night. Lightbulb colors by bed, would be nice to have them same color, little detail. Nice touch with fireplace in room with a seating area. Nice use of space. I heard the breakfast at the restaurant was really good, but it was closed the morning we were there.

We had a great stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. We liked that housekeeping only came when requested, but when we needed anything it was done right away. The decor was not our taste, but everything was very well kept. Bed was comfortable, quiet building, easy parking. Would definitely recommend!
