Uber to the Convention Center & El Distrito (10 min), Old San Juan (15 min) and the airport (15 min). Fully redecorated studio for you to enjoy a comfortable, stylish, and pleasant stay. While inside the apartment, enjoy great AC, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, Smart TV with Netflix, Prime Video and more and high-speed fiber optic WIFI. Other things to note OCCUPANCY: This unit allows 2 overnight guests. Over occupancy may result in eviction and penalties. PETS: Only small to medium and well-behaved pets may be allowed. Please let us know in advance if you travel with pets since the building also has a pet policy. Once the administration clears our request, you may bring your pet. If there are any complaints regarding the pet with neighbors or residents, the removal of the pet may be requested. CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: Check-in time is at or after 3 pm, and check-out time is before or at 11 am. Early check-ins and late check-outs are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Unauthorized late check-out will have an additional cost of $100. SECURITY DEPOSIT PRE-AUTHORIZATION: Please be aware that missing keys will have a $50 minimum charge, missing garage remote $100 minimum charge, and damaged or missing item varies depending on the cost of the item. RAILINGS: Nothing mat be hung on the balcony railing, ie. wet beach towels, etc. per condominium rules. GATHERINGS: We know you are coming to Puerto Rico to have a good time, but we work hard to maintain a good relationship with neighbors and residents. This property has a strict \`No Party\` policy. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. It\`s a residential building, not a hotel. Many residents go to work early in the morning. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit. POTENTIAL HAZARDS: SWIMMING POOL: Guests are responsible for their security and conduct when in the pool area and must follow all pool rules. ATLANTIC OCEAN: There are no lifeguards on the beach, sometimes the ocean is calm, and you can go out for a swim; however, be advised that rip currents are very often in our area. There are several online weather bulletins you should check. Please be cautious and play it safe! GUESTS WITH CHILDREN: Adult Guests/Parents are responsible for the behavior and well-being of their children. Do Not Leave Your Child UNATTENDED. The Open entry area, Laundry, and Kitchen cabinets are critical areas where unattended children should not be allowed. The same rule applies to the building\`s common areas. SECURITY: For security reasons, The building has audio/video recording cameras in hallways, common areas and outside the building. The building has two security guards, be kind to them; they are accommodating but they are not concierges. Inside the unit, we have a smoke detector and Minut, which measures sound levels and alerts us if things are too loud so we can give you a heads up. None of the security features in our apartment record the content of any sort. Your privacy is guaranteed. UNIT RULES: Most of our unit rules were laid out above; however, additional rules are posted inside the unit. Please make sure you read them. BUILDING RULES: Our building has the following communal rules. Any disregard of these rules may result in penalty fees; please help yourself and us keep out of trouble: \-Always wear shirts and shoes when inside the building. \-When wet, use the cargo/service elevator. \-When carrying your bags or beach chairs use the cargo/service elevator. \-You can drink in the pool area using no glass containers; however, drinking or eating in the swimming pool is strictly prohibited. \-Additional communal rules are posted inside the unit. Please make sure you read them. Failure to abide by the listed rules and policies may lead to eviction without refund. STORMS and HURRICANE POLICY : We understand that weather can be a concern when traveling to a tropical island. Our hurricane and storm policy is designed to be clear and fair: Refunds will only be issued if the National Weather Service declares a mandatory evacuation for our location. In such a case, we\`ll refund the unused portion of your current booking, or any reservation scheduled to begin during the mandatory evacuation period, starting from the day the order is given. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for regular rain or tropical storms, as these are part of the natural climate here. The apartment was very clean, modern, and offered an excellent location—it is truly accessible to everything you might need during your stay. The only downside to note is the parking situation. Although 'parking' is listed under popular amenities, upon check-in, you are notified that there is no onsite parking and all spaces are private. If you are traveling with a car, be prepared to look for offsite options. I arrived shortly after the latest hurricane and while there was no electricity for the first few days everyone managed. The property manager stayed in touch with me to make sure everything was ok. The local restaurants were open - all had generators, the grocery store was open and the busses were running so I was fine. Walking distance to everything (supermarket, restaurants, drug stores, souvenir shops, etc.) - Short walk to the beach. - Uber is available and drivers are familiar with the area. - Bed is comfy and condo is decorated nicely. - Disposable masks and hand sanitizer are provided. - Neighboring rooms are quiet. - Peter is quick to respond to questions/concerns. Cons: - The condo has a few quirks (toilet sounds like a jackhammer at random times) and the main building (Condado del Mar) is a huge eye sore (not pictured in original post) and is a rental complex. - Towel and linen change is NOT available despite saying so in original posting. - Storing luggage in the condo's mini-market for last day excursions is NOT guaranteed and Condado del Mar staff are not helpful. We happened to find a last minute place off-site (Condado Tourism Center) for $10\. - Light does filter into the condo despite having blinds and the surrounding streets are noisy at night. We used a white noise app to drown it out. Overall, you get what you pay for. This is not a luxury condo, but it is clean, a safe place to sleep within walking distance to everything. ##### BreeAnna B.
