Decent place to spend a night.

Posted 24-May-2016
Pros: Close to everything.
Cons: Updating. It;s an older hotel and it shows.
We only stayed one night, with a late check in and an early departure, so there isn't much we can address. The room was clean and did not have any unpleasant odors. We had a garden view with a little patio that gave the room a cottagey feel. The bed was fine for me, but my husband had difficulty sleeping (too soft). We did not take advantage of the coffee, breakfast or any other amenities.

Old school, but wonderful

Posted 13-May-2016
Pros: All of the above.
Cons: Just about everything.
Location: So so very near Los Gatos where you can find ANYTHING you want or need.
Yes, it's old and just a little run down. But the view of the property while sitting on your patio is worth it. Having a bar and restaurant so close to the rooms is great too. The restaurant isn't the best, but if you've been driving all day, it's a blessing not to have to go out again. We love this hotel and stay often. Plus, the rates are great.

Nice quiet place. Everything was good except for the spiders in the room. Hotel staff was super nice. Conveniently located. Easy access. Breakfast was good.

OK, close to relative we were visiting.

Posted 10-May-2016
Pros: Location, nice grounds to walk around, good staff.
Cons: The rooms are shabby.
Location: Downtown Los Gatos, lots of shopping and dining.
The staff was efficient but the room was in need of a major remodel. Bed ok, no working light in the living area and an uncomfortable couch. Close to the person we're visiting and not so bad that we won't stay there when we come again. Hopefully by then they will have upgraded the rooms.

Conveniently located and close to town...

Posted 08-May-2016
Pros: Location and widespread atmosphere. Great continental breakfast.
Cons: Overall property is starting to look deferred.
Location: Downtown is just 3 blocks away with great shopping and food options.
Unfortunately there was a large group that was partying for two nights so sleep was disturbed. Looking around the property, deferred maintenance is starting to make the property look tired. Grass has been patched in a very sloppy manor.

nice motel. Not fancy. Convenience

Posted 02-May-2016
Pros: location and free breakfast
Cons: extra blanket . smell of perfume in room but room was clean
Location: location close to my venue. A little tough to navigate without landing up on highways and taking lots of circuitous routes. looked like lots to do,
No complaints except noisy at night and smelled of perfume (a little allergic reaction). could use an extra blanket

2.5-3 star hotel

Posted 25-Apr-2016
Pros: Definately the staff. Food at an event held there awesome.
Cons: location of toilet
Staff was fantastic. They are definately a 5 star staff. Room was a 3. toilet to close to wall. otherwise was clean and cozy enough for my stay.

Convenient location

Posted 25-Apr-2016
Pros: The overall quite and tranquility of the place
Location: It is very convenient and only minutes away from everything.
This is an older hotel but very well maintained. Everything was very clean, the beds were good and the rooms were very quite. The only problem I had with the place and I don't believe it is the hotels fault completely, the showers are awful. very small, took forever to get hot water and then once I got it it kept going from ice cold to scalding hot. Not a fun experience. Other then that a very pleasant experience. I would go there again.

Aardig hotel, goede locatie

Posted 21-Apr-2016
