A smelly smoky dive hotel

Posted 19-Nov-2016
My room smelled so bad and people were smoking pot and cigarettes on the grounds. A big cigarette container was right aside the door to the restaurant. It was so gross. Someone was sleeping in their car when I went to leave one morning. They had the TV on a Spanish station during breakfast because the majority were Mexican construction workers. The offer breakfast but not until 7 - most other places start at 6. The food was greasy and gross - and the "hot' food was late

Disappointing hotel on a lot of levels

Posted 18-Nov-2016
Lodge was convenient and allowed dogs in some rooms, however I was told there would be one fee for bringing a pet and when I checked in this was different and much more. Staff was extremely unfriendly and did not seem willing to help or share anything about the facility such as where the restaurant is, or even where to find my room. I was not made to feel welcome here whatsoever. The room itself was disappointing, dingy and unclean. It was also extremely loud, to the point that I was unable to sleep much one night due to other guests making noise continuously and rowdiness in the parking lot. After I checked out, I received two additional charges on my card for the room which I had already pre-paid for. Resolving this issue was a giant hassle, and staff I spoke with were unfriendly and unprofessional. My experience is unfortunate, as this would be a convenient place for me to stay again in the future, but I will not be returning.

GREAT HOTEL

Posted 17-Nov-2016
Pros: The location and the grounds.
Cons: The breakfast service ... HOT FOOD SHOULD BE SERVED ON TIME.
Location: It is located near Hwy. 17 and Old Town Los Gatos. There is lots to do.
Our stay was pleasant except that our door would not lock and maintenance never showed up to repair it. Breakfast is excellent but the hot food was very late being served and breakfast hours are already late (7:00 weekdays and 7:30 weekends).

Dated

Pros: Decent breakfast included, bottled water provided. Nice to have a patio.
Cons: Bed needed replacing. Overall the place is dated and needs sprucing up.

Great location, good price

Posted 05-Nov-2016
Location: very close to down-town Los Gatos
A very convenient, pleasant location, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Los Gatos. No formal dining room. Breakfast buffet-style in the bar and grill, not open on Sunday evening. Friendly personnel, although limited in number. Very clean.
