Pros: Location and convenience
Location: Downtown Los Gatos is very convenient to the hotel and has many nice shops, restaurants and services. The access to the highway is convenient
Our experience was very pleasant. The staff was wonderful. The hotel is quaint, has nice amenities and is in a good location for all of our activities with easy access to the highway.

Good price for Los Gatos. Breakfast included.

No issues. Only they forgot to install the shower curtain first night so bath floor became wet. They realized when replacing towels. No big deal for me for business trip.

Los Gatos Lodge

Posted 23-Jun-2016
Pros: We liked the inner courtyard landscaping and the patio access. The breakfast was very good. The evening music was a treat.
Cons: The beds are very hard. The carpet is very rough and flat.
Location: I few minutes away was the center of town. We visited Los Gatos to attend the Artists Plein Aire Event and it was perfect. The shops and restaurants
Pleased with the location being close to town. We visited Los Gatos to attend the Artist Plein Aire Event. It felt out of the way, yet a minute away by car. We arrived earlier than check in and were assigned a room. When we entered, it was obvious that the room had not been readied. We dropped off our luggage and left. It was ready when we arrived many hours later. The sheets were very wrinkled and the edges were not tightened down on the edges. I worried that the sheets had not been changed. No way of knowing. The live music venue was very enjoyable. We met some nice people. The entire grounds are lovely. The lodge itself is not attractive.

Nervous

Posted 06-Jun-2016
I was in a hurry to find a hotel late for Memorial weekend. When I booked here at a reasonable price, I went back to look at the reviews. The ratings were low. So when I got there, I was surprised. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff was great. This place is located around nice big trees, and well kept grounds. The breakfast is great, and pool was fun and clean.Downtown a mile away, loaded with wonderful restaurants in great atmosphere. Very enjoyable.

Fair price, friendly staff

Posted 28-May-2016
Pros: The room rate was fair. For the price, we were pleased with what we got and would stay there again if we have business in the valley.
This hotel definitely has a history in Los Gatos. Although the hotel is older, our room was clean and fresh. The check in staff and facility staff were friendly.

Decent place to spend a night.

Posted 24-May-2016
Pros: Close to everything.
Cons: Updating. It;s an older hotel and it shows.
We only stayed one night, with a late check in and an early departure, so there isn't much we can address. The room was clean and did not have any unpleasant odors. We had a garden view with a little patio that gave the room a cottagey feel. The bed was fine for me, but my husband had difficulty sleeping (too soft). We did not take advantage of the coffee, breakfast or any other amenities.

Old school, but wonderful

Posted 13-May-2016
Pros: All of the above.
Cons: Just about everything.
Location: So so very near Los Gatos where you can find ANYTHING you want or need.
Yes, it's old and just a little run down. But the view of the property while sitting on your patio is worth it. Having a bar and restaurant so close to the rooms is great too. The restaurant isn't the best, but if you've been driving all day, it's a blessing not to have to go out again. We love this hotel and stay often. Plus, the rates are great.
