Not what was expected

Posted 17-Jan-2016
Pros: Closer to airport.
Cons: Seems aging, could use better maintenance, renovation.
Bathroom was in bad shape, floor tiles were coming loose, marks on the floor, one of the lights switch was broken . There were marks on furniture. Mediocre breakfast. For the price, hotel did not live up the expectation.

Our Stay at the Carlyle Hotel

Posted 20-Dec-2015
Pros: The location is close to downtown Campbell and Opa's, where we were going for dinner.
Cons: Breakfast could be improved greatly. Everything was cold and there were no bananas for the cereal. The eggs and muffins were okay.
Location: Lots of restaurants and other things in the vicinity.
Our room was comfortable and adequate, but nothing fancy. The chairs in the lobby and the chair in our room were frayed and looked terrible. It's way past time for some new upholstery.

ランドリーマシンがあって便利。駐車場は屋内。朝食にはウインナーと卵がつく。フロントも客室係も、お願いしたことへの対応が親切で早い。

Staff was pleasant. The breakfast eggs and sausages were not very good The furniture in the lobby is a little thread bare but clean. The hotel was very quiet

Not bad, we were not informed of the 150$ deposit upon check-in. Personally thought it was overpriced for what you get on a one night stay. Would rather find a different hotel in the area, but the jacuzzi tub was nice.

Not a great stay

Posted 30-Oct-2015 on Hotels
The location was exactly what I needed, and the price point was in range. I found the room not as clean as I expect it to be. There was hair on the pillows and in the bed. Everything seemed "fresh" and I was exhausted, so I didn't call to make a fuss. Breakfast in the morning was basic, but I am grateful they included that. I had to wait just over 5 mins for someone to check me out in the morning. I would have been happy to wait, if they had put a sign out or something. Instead, I stood at the counter calling "hello?" several times... I would not stay here again.

on the whole, it was good. I was worried about the hotel condition because it seems a little bit old, but it was not. its interior was clean and cozy beyond my worrying. and the breakfast was nice too. but they do not provide me a slipper. it was the only defect of this hotel.

Pros: Location was good. Close to the freeway. Nice that breakfast was included, and the breakfast was good. Not great, but good.
The hotel staff were very pleasant, but in the end this is an old hotel with old decor and old furniture. We couldn't easily go from one side of the room to the other when the tv cabinet was open. The coffeemaker was almost inside the bathroom, and the bathroom was small.
