Very good hotel for the price.

The hotel is very good. The rooms are very clean the staff very helpfull, the breakfast should be updated. The fruits are old. Requested a wake up call at 3:30 AM . They did not wake me up .it was good I did not miss my flight the towels are hard

Pros: Its location, the service, the design
Location: Dunn Inn is centrally located. San Jose's attractions can be visited within a walking distance.
Dunn Inn is a beautiful place! I really loved the lobby and the restaurant with all the cute wall arts. Staff is super nice and very helpful. The service was top notch ! Totally recommend this place for anyone visiting San Jose.

Nice hotel walking distance to city centre

Lovely staff, all very helpful and friendly. Loved the funky dining area / bar. Quiet room if away from min road

Location: 5 min walk to the main avenue in downtown, many restaurants around.
I have visited the hotel in the past and saw the rooms but unfortunately my last vacation I chose another purely on price per day, I recommend that sometimes and in this case around $5/day extra was very much worth it more quite and easy access and the even have parking spaces. this added to may last vacation would have made it actually cheaper. The safe was very accomidating and answered all of my questions. This hotel will be at the top of my list when I return.

Fine for a short city stay, lovely staff.

Plus points: all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Dinner in the attached restaurant next door was great. Reasonable walking distance to town, although we were advised not to walk through there at night. Cool bohemian cafe across the road. Lots of leaflets/information for tours etc. Less positive: our wooden panelled room seemed a bit dated, I think there is another part of the hotel that has better rooms. Although we asked for a quiet room was given a room with a large, noisy aircon unit outside that rattled all night long. The free breakfast was a bit lame: good fruit but lame 'spam' and cheese with undertoasted bread.
