Great service

Hotel staff is really nice and the room was really good. The pay attention on details, the food choices are very good. They will make you feel confortable

Barcelos - Internet terrible !!! Wifi did not work

WIFIdid not work at all in the room. Internet service was ok on rest of hotel but no in the rooms. Their access points are poorly located which makes the wifi signal not reach in the rooms. Such a shame for a classy hotel.

Hotel ideal para noche de bodas

Pros: La piscina es increíble, aunque nos gustaron más los bellos jardines y el buen trato de todo el personal.
Cons: Es un poco difícil controlar la temperatura de la habitación. Sería mejor si pudiera controlar exactamente a qué temperatura se está.
Mi esposa y yo pasamos nuestras primeras dos noches de casados en este hotel y no lo podríamos recomendar más. El personal estuvo siempre a nuestras órdenes ayudándonos en todo, especialmente en vista de una tragedia familiar que tuvimos que enfrentar en el proceso. El hotel es precioso, la comida riquísima y se lo recomiendo a cualquier persona que quiera una experiencia genial.

Extra fees per person

Cons: They shouldn't have a per person fee for 2 ppl. I can understand if there are 3 or more to a room but not for 2.
Location: No open restaurants within walking distance at night.
I booked a room with a king size bed via Expedia. I was charged an extra fee when I arrived for having an "extra person" (my wife). From my experience rooms are usually double occupancy. Especially rooms with a king size bed. Had I known there was a $37 fee, I would have possibly booked a similar but less expensive hotel.

An average hotel with average service

Pros: The room is nice, the gardens are beatiful
Cons: The restaurants schedule, it is impossible to find something to eat, even the store on the hotel close very early.
Location: There is nothing close
For me this is not the best hotel. Restaurants close early and open late and they are expensive. There is nothing close. The room service is not good.

Agradable y confortable hotel en la ciudad

El hotel cuenta con una exelente ubicación en la ciudad de San José y banstante cerca del aeropuerto, a pesar de estar ubicado cerca de una autopista, las habitaciones son silenciosas, exelente para un buen descanso despues de un largo día de trabajo. El desayuno buffet es completo. Lo recomiendo para personas que buscan descansar y les agrada la comodidad.

Nice hotel close to San Jose

Pros: Really nice looking place for the price and considering other Costa Rica prices
Cons: Get better bartenders and wait staff, absolutely clueless. Staff was incapable of using my Visa and would not assist me unless I made a 20 dollar call
Location: We used the hotel for a taste of luxury, having been in Costa Rica for a while. A short ride to Airport. Great bands at Friday show.
Beautiful hotel, however, staff was lueless in using my Visa Card with a chip. Wait staff at inside bar during daytime hours was indifferent and inattentive to customers.

good hotel out of the city center

The hotel have an good location , the bathroom of the room need to be repaired , the terrace of the restaurant remain closed al the time after 5:00 pm
