I counted 11 light bulbs not working. Maintenance was able to replace 3 but not others. Water heater stopped working twice and I had to call owner (maintenance responded and fixed the problem but we lost time while we couldn't shower. Maybe they fixed it for good after the second repair but who knows. One of the toilets isnt supposed to be used for solid waste, only liquid. This was not disclosed until we got the instructions when we arrived. The house is very spacious and could be a nice place if it was maintained well. ##### William G. The host has clearly listened to feedback and made amazing upgrades. Now all the bedrooms have air conditioning, which made a huge difference—everyone slept comfortably even in the summer heat. They also added a water heater, so we enjoyed nice hot showers whenever we wanted, and we had absolutely no issues with the toilets during our stay.Overall, this home far exceeded our expectations. What started as a hesitant booking turned into one of the most enjoyable trips we’ve had. We felt comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. There were 7 of us ranging in age from 11 to 46\. Here is what we liked and disliked:Pros: Plenty of space and beds/bedrooms, 2 living rooms with couches to hang out together. We didn’t do any cooking, but there is a large kitchen and dining area. Price was great. WiFi worked great throughout the house. There is a gated (doesn’t lock) driveway in front of the house. It’s at a difficult angle but plenty of space to park 1 vehicle.Entire house to yourself. It looks exactly as shown in pictures. Within walking distance (5 minutes) to downtown and market. Roads are steep so getting home is all uphill. We felt safe the entire time. The house is in a typical/local neighborhood. Rooftop is nice to get fresh air and cool off at night. Cons:The biggest complaint is that only 2 of the bedrooms have AC. The rest of the house only has ceiling fans. We didn’t realize that when we booked and that is why I dropped it a star. We were there in July so it was extremely hot and made it difficult to sleep. Toilets are a little finicky and don’t have great flushing power. Courtesy flushes will do the trick. Not really a con for us, but there is no hot water for the showers. The water was naturally luke warm which was nice for us to cool off. Overall, you can’t beat the price for the amount of space.
