The Hotel staff were great!!! Friendly and very helpful...bathroom space was very small but very clean room!

Great Location but difficult with car

Pros: Location is the only thing. There are many in that area. your better off finding another one.
Cons: All of it.
Location: Took a class, Ate at restaurants.
Staff was nice but didnt help me with my luggage when I arrived. Did see them help others through my stay, so maybe it was just that moment. Noticed an old muggy smell throughout hotel. Room was nicely decorated. very very small but cute. Bathroom was inside a closet spaced room. Impressed they could fit a tub, toilet & sink in such a small area. I felt like I was in an airplane bathroom. Room was cold and air/heat was difficult to use. Had to call maintenance up to fix unit, Froze all night my first night. Blankets are so thin on bed it feels like all you have is a sheet. Had to order more blankets. Bring you own pillow, because the pillows are either hard or lumpy. I felt there was False advertisement because it said they had a restaurant on site and coffee shop, but both were shut down. Had to settle for Kueirg coffee machine in lobby, which was fine if it was well stocked, they ran out of creamer completely the second day and I had no morning coffee. When I attempted to park my car, the next day there was no space available, & had to keep circling around and around and around in that horrible city traffic. when I called to complain, they assured me they would take care of me when I spun around again. they did not & made me keep driving. I was so fed up with this hotel, the smell, the horrible bed, the freezing room, the coffee situation, & parking, that I drove all the way home in traffic. I was staying in the city for a class, & wanted to avoid the commute. Didnt happen

Hotel close to Union Square

Pros: Location
Cons: Facility need to be renewed or revamped
1. Nice location - close to Union Square. 2. old facilities... AC. elevator and etc. 3. The staff at guest service are friendly...but very somehow slow...

Pros: it right on center of the everything.
Cons: bathrooms are so tight.
Location: shopping resturants coffee shops they are next to hotel.
hotel is ok but i was disapointed with the resturant waiters ,specialy when they gave me soup spoon for my tea .

Hôtel agréable et très bien situé

Pros: Sa localisation
Location: Quartier animé, à noter que le "Cable Car" passe devant l'hôtel. Idéal pour se rendre sur les quais (wharf).
L'hôtel est très très bien placé (sauf peut-être quand on vient en voiture, plus de 20 minutes à tourner en rond avant qu'une des 2 / 3 places réservées aux arrivées soit disponible) : le "Cable Car" passe devant. Le personnel de l'hôtel est accueillant. L'hôtel est agréable, les chambres ont été bien rénovées. Seul petit bémol, la taille des chambres pour une famille de 4 personnes. A noter que nous étions déjà venu en 2011 (avant la rénovation) et que c'était déjà très bien et même mieux pour nous car nous avions eu une chambre plus grande.

The location is very convenient; it's close to Union Square and close to the beginning of a line of the famous cable car. If you enjoy jogging, you can jog along Market street down to the bay and then jog along the bay. I made it to Pie 39 one morning and it's fair to say it's the best jogging I've ever done. Also, they have some pretty friendly and responsive hotel staff.

Make sure you ask corner room. It's bigger. Overall hotel is good. Very convenient location.

Pros: Decor, friendly staff in lobby, tasty restaurant
Cons: See above about my experience - main takeaway is follow up follow up follow up needed by hotel as they let a lot fall through the cracks..
Location: Union Square
Awesome location, friendly staff, beautiful hotel, but super disappointed in quality of service. Such a miss... 1) Body soap dispenser always empty - eco idea but NEVER refilled the entire 4 days I was there.. 2) Texted by virtual concierge asking if I needed help with anything. Asked for nearest pharmacy - took 3 hours to respond. Clearly I had googled it by then... 3) Texted by hotel manager asking about stay on scale of 1-5. I repiled 3 with some things being 1 and some being 5. NO REPLY for entire stay, Why ask if don't care? 4) Bellman came to help with luggage and took off before I had finished giving him items, leaving me me to carry in a HUGE box by myself. 5) Coffee, champagne, and water in lobby - never told about it and only noticed when I checked out. Would have enjoyed it daily had I known 6) Asked concierge for basic info like how much the trolley cost and he had to look it up online (come on - the trolley goes past the hotel!!!) 7) Asked for pack-n-play and they brought it and set it up but didn't include any linens 8) A week or so before my stay I was sent an auto e-mail about my "upcoming stay" asking if I had any special requests. I replied with my special requests and nobody ever confirmed receipt. When I called they had no idea what I was talking about. 9) Really nice room decor (suite) but VERY small
