The location of this property was great. Lots of things to do in the area, and walking distance to china town and the financial district. The staff was extremely nice all around. The rooms are slightly dated and did not have natural lighting which really messed with my sleeping schedule but the beds were comfy and the room was clean.

The staff was friendly, beds comfortable rooms were clean, we stayed 3 nights and all 3 mornings our shower was cold we even let it run for 15 mins to try to get it to warm up didn’t get much better

The hotel is okay, I would not stay here again but it was not worth the hassle to leave for a 2 night stay. The shower is extremely small and did not drain well and I had to shower in standing water. The water in the shower and also the sink would not get hot at all- it was room temperature at best. The outlets in the bathroom did not work. The window looked into another hotel room and let no natural light in the room. The smell throughout the entire hotel reeked of musty odor as well. If I’m being critical, the paint job in the hotel could be described as the landlord special - sloppy, many layers, and outlets painted over. I would have expected this from a motel, but not a Hilton property. I let the receptionist know about the issues that needed to be resolved in the room (drain, water, and outlet issues) upon checkout. I didn’t ask but I was not offered any sort of “compensation” such as Hilton points or room credit despite having Gold status. The positive: the bed was comfortable.

Nice Place, But Doesn't Live Up to the Pictures
For being part of the Hilton Family of hotels, it was disappointing.For the price, the hotel was nice, but didn't resemble the pictures or quality of a renovated hotel. I expected this vibrant urban type artwork on the wall, and it was somewhat dingy looking and it was just a canvas tacked to the wall like I was i in a college dormitory. The paint job looked dismal.The layout of the furniture was awkward. I couldn't plug the Kurig in because the chord was too short for where they had it sitting on top of the refrigerator and I had to move it to one of the nightstands. The light socket in the bathroom never worked. I reported it, and the staff member called it in, but it was never fixed. In fact, he checked in with me about it every morning.The staff was very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. The room itself and the stay was okay, but there is definitely a lot of things that could be improved.

The first room had no hot water and the refrigerator didn't work. They sent "an engineer" who said he fixed it, but actually did nothing. Still with no hot water or refrigerator working we asked to move rooms. They moved us to a room with hot water and working refrigerator. However, the windows were completely insecure and unlockable and could be opened from the outside, the overhead light didn't work and another light was broken so room was very dark, the hotel phone had no place to plug it in, and the heat was always on and the room was over 90 degrees. They put nails in the windows to secure them, and gave us a control for the AC so we could turn off the heat. The weight room had no cleaning solution or wipes. The bar closes at 9pm and there is no way to buy a beer after that. The bar across the street closes at 11. This place should not be open. We heard others complaining too.

Too loud & Cable Car Lounge across the street is noisy till about 2am. Homelessness is unpredictable and I had a 5am wake up call downstairs as he was yelling. Interior of hotel is outdated it needs a refurbish.

Great Hotel! With a great location!
Hotel is very old but in a great condition, super clean and staff are so friendly. they just need to work more on breakfast. I would give breakfast 6/10 only because there was no variety. But it was not bad.

the heater did not work during the cold weather the shower water did not get warm the Netflix on the TV did not work the engineer had to come and fix all these areas of the property after we complained to the manager overall not a great experience and will not be going back

Fun story. I stayed for 2 nights and on the first night after my shower I couldn't get the light on the ceiling fan above my bed to turn off. It just seemed like the control panel wasn't working at all. So I dressed and went down to the lobby (because my phone wasn't working) and they were preparing to send maintenance up to my room to disconnect the whole fixture. But when I got back to my room all the lights were now off, so I went back down and told them that there was no need for repairs. However, at 6:00 am the next morning the light in the sitting area of the room turned on on its own. The light switch for this was over by the door to the room. I grumbled that at least it didn't happen at 2 am. Then my second morning in the room the light turned on again, but this time at 2:20 am. The room was very comfortable and it was clear that renovations had occurred to update and modernize the space. However, all the construction in the world won't change the spirits that were there before us. I guess a functional phone would also have been handy to have.
