Very rude front desk staff

Posted 02-Feb-2016
When I checked in, front desk was very rude. After a long flight that's the last thing I need checking into a hotel. They booked me into a room that was really far from the elevator and I booked "city view" . Once I got to the room, it was overlooking the gas station. I called up front desk and they basically yelled at me for trying to see if there was another room available and she tried to tell me that I was upgraded without being charged for that "view" room. I payed and booked for city view and it was horrible and very loud at the gas station. Front desk did nothing to try to change my room. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND STAFF!

Great hotel, great location!

We did not use the amenities, however our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is wonderful! We walked to Starbucks which is directly next to the cable car turn and then walked to Fisherman's Wharf. Ghiradelli Square was walking distance (for healthy groups.). The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very convenient to fisherman's wharf.

Pros: Location
Cons: View but not going to happen.
Location: As above.
No real view here but a clean hotel with very friendly staff. Close walking distance to fisherman's wharf, Giradelli, and the cable car line.

Pros: The decoration, quietlines, and service.
Cons: The breakfast buffete for the proce could be better.
Location: Crossing the Street there are a very good breakfast restaurant, the Hollywood café, Fisherman duarf and the Pier 39 are in a short walking distance.
This hotel is one of the best in the Fisherman´s duarf area, there are many good restaurants and points of interest very close,

A let down.

Posted 23-Jan-2016
Pros: Not much. Nothing special.
Cons: You could let the client know they are getting bombed on parking.
Location: The wharf.
I was disappointed with the room quality and price. The parking was charged but was not explained very well at booking. It was a disappointment.

The hotel was really perfect, but my room key had to be changed a lot of times when I stayed in the hotel.

Perfect Location!

Posted 15-Jan-2016
Pros: Location, location location!
Cons: Not much
Location: See comments above.
The Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf hotel is located perfectly for the tourist! It is walking distance to all the major pier sightseeing and to both of the cable car turn around stops. The beds are super comfy and the room is nice and clean. Courteous staff and easy check in are two more plusses. I would stay here again on a future trip.
