Pay for location and not much else
I choose this hotel for its location close to a concert venue and was pleased at the short distance we had to walk to the venue and the valet service and check-in staff were good; however, that is where the good news stops. In addition to being an extremely small room, lighting was terrible, electrical outlets crumbling and dangerous, high banshee shriek in bathroom fan, low lighting and no outlets in bathroom, mouse running in hallway (ran into a couple who were moved from 4th to 7th room because they had mouse in their room and my teens were very disturbed by seeing the rodent, half the elevators didn't seem to work, and finally, no coffee maker in the room (not that there were outlets to use) - but this is an amenity that even most budget and family hotels offer so overall, our experience was not great. It was adequate except for the fear I had of there being an electrical fire in the room. Oh and the wifi didn't work well either - had to stand in the hall or go downstairs for any decent connection. The manager on duty did take my worries and complaints seriously upon our departure and refunded my valet overnight car fee (presumably I will see that on my credit card). I am glad they seemed quick to agree these were serious matters being reported.
