Whitcomb Hotel - Old & smelly
As a landmark for San Francisco History Hotel Whitcomb is a must see, but that doesn't mean you have to stay in it .
we decided to stay here because we wanted to try something different, the hotel rates are must likely the same as other hotels, but as soon as we got here we knew it was a mistake .
Front desk people are slow and kept us waiting for 20 minutes, with 2 people on the line. once we had our room walking on the elevators and they where smelly and not clean . we got to our floor and the carpet was dirty and had a dust smell. our room was somewhat clean but really old furniture and mattresses, there is limited insolation in between rooms so you can easily hear other rooms.
And billing wise we had already paid our stay and the Hotel Charged me an extra 100 USD which i've inquired what was that about and they have not replied.! i could've have stayed at the Loews Regency for the price i paid with better accomodations cleaner environment greater customer service .

Thank you for your comments, $100 is only authorized for incidentals and is returned after you check out, if this was a debit card your bank could take longer to refund, I hope this answers your question and i extend my apologies your the service short comings.
