Not very Diva ...

Posted 30-Sep-2016
The hotel is going through a remodel which was not disclosed when booking. The elevators didn't work for most of my stay, the entire place smelled moldy, there was plastic covering tre floors, black duct-tape hold everything in place ... all looking like it had been that way for a long time. Upstairs hall windows were out, leaving gapping holes without cover, construction materials piled up in areas and visible, and construction started early in he morning preventing what I had hoped to be productive work hours from my room. Aside from two kind staff, the others didn't even acknowledge my existence when I waited at the front counter to ask when the elevator might start working (I had business attire on, high heels, a suitcase and computer bag), leaving me to lug myself and my items up six flights of stairs. Same scenario when checking out. Horrible. The front desk person acknowledged things had changed quite a bit since new management took over. Very unfortunate.

One word: DISASTROUS..

Posted 28-Sep-2016
Pros: Location within the city is fantastic. That's about it.
Cons: Being upfront about fees and construction prior to booking.
Location: Union Square, heart of it all.
Let's start with the most obvious problem: this hotel is undergoing massive renovations which begin at 7:30 AM, and there's obviously not a word of it when booking it. On night one, our room was situated directly above a recycling plant, with the sound of hundreds of glass bottles being shuffled around until at least 2am, only to start again at 5am. Insane. We barely slept. Requesting a change of room was met with a lot of resistance as we could not accommodate their cleaning crew deadline of being back by 3pm. We were back by 3:30pm. It was after much arguing that the staff finally agreed to move us. We were finally able to catch up on some sleep until construction began at 7:30 AM. Had to navigate around construction, toolboxes and workers to exit. Upon leaving, we were told we would have our facility fee waved, which includes "free" WiFi and access to a gym of facility, something we were never told about checking in. Additionally, valet parking is off site, and takes 30 minutes to bring your car upfront. The staff does their best to be accommodating,, but honestly, there was such a lack of disclosure upfront that the place feels like a ripoff. DOES NOT deserve its rating or the money we paid.

Under construction

Posted 28-Sep-2016
I will no longer use Expedia. I'm sick of getting to a hotel and having it be under construction. $250 a night and banging and construction everywhere!!! This should be made clear up front. I have been an Expedia member for over 10 years and I'm done.

Cheaters!!!!

Posted 27-Sep-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: burn it down and start over.
The rooms look nothing like the pictures. Old, run down, kind of gross. The hotel is under construction/remodeling and the remodeled rooms are just as bad as the old ones. TOTAL RIP-OFF!!!! Complained to the front desk, who didn't care and admitted they had never been in any of the rooms. Horrible service, horrible place.

靠近鬧區的飯店

Posted 20-Sep-2016
Pros: 靠近鬧區
Cons: 隔間跟房間門都是木板無法帶給人安全感, 入住時同樓層在施工, 所以環境看起來不是太好
Location: 聯合廣場
床很舒適, 但是入住時同樓層在施工, 所以環境看起來不是太好, 房間的設計感還不錯, 但是隔間是木板, 感覺有點不太安全也不夠安靜

Dark and noisy

Posted 19-Sep-2016
The hotel diva is not our style. It is very modern and very dark. The room was clean and decently sized. But my overall impression is that the hotel was dark and dungeonous. The hotel is currently going through renovations. The fitness center is closed (they partnered with a gym around the corner) and construction picked up at 7:00 am on Sunday morning. For this, they charged a $15 resort fee. Hotel Diva is a far cry from a resort. On the plus side, location was good and the adjoining Mexican restaurant was delicious.

Hotel is under construction. Was not disclosed

Posted 16-Sep-2016
Only one elevator and the construction crew used the same one. As a result it took upwards of 15 minutes to get an elevator.

Kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage

Posted 08-Sep-2016
