Hip stylish hotel

Posted 17-Apr-2017
The hotel staff were extremely nice. The room was a bit small and I wish I had a better view but overall, everything was surprisingly pleasant. I would definitely stay here again

Nice boutique hotel walking , also affordable.

Posted 10-Apr-2017
Pros: Location, clean and affordable.
Cons: Update the elevator. It is very old and slow.
Location: Centrally located, near a lot of hotels, food and entertainment.
Easy check in, free internet, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The room was very small, which is usually the case with boutique hotel. Once you step outside the hotel there are a lot of homeless people walking around and you will hear a lot of noise especially if your room is facing the street. I had a great day.

Okay stay, not worth the money

Posted 07-Apr-2017
Hotel Diva was alright. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room itself was okay. The downside was that after getting home I received a charge for the internet. Just be aware that this is in the fine print, so even though you may think you've paid the full amount for the room through Expedia, the hotel will charge you extra after.

Well done. Great romantic evening.

Great in every way. Staff was friendly, rooms were modern and overall experience was fantastic. Not to mention the price was very affordable next to other comparable hotels. Stayed with my wife and she loved it too!!! A+++

Ok hotel close to about everything in the city

Posted 04-Apr-2017
I can't really complain about the hotel it was just a little small for me. Took awhile to check in. They have two staff members in the front desk but only one is there to check you in saw no point to that. The location is great though. Pier 33 was only about a mile walk which wasn't bad. Also a bunch of places to eat where close by. Over all it was just ok I would look somewhere else to stay next time but wouldn't mind another stay.

Just fine

Posted 02-Apr-2017
Would have been better for just one or two nights. Staying there longer left a lot to be desired in terms of comfort. It smelled musty, the faculties were run down, the windows were frosted because they looked into an alley so it felt very depressing. The $15/day charge left me feeling ripped off. Had I known that when booking and factored that into the per night cost I would have booked a better hotel. I thought I was saving money by staying here but in the end that isn't true. There should be an option to opt out of the facilities charge if you don't want to utilize those amenities such as: wifi in your room, the gym, use of the phone or taking part in the "free happy hour shots" in the lobby etc. despite the very friendly staff, I won't be returning.

Nice hotel in downtown SF

Posted 28-Mar-2017
Pros: Clean room and friendly staff
Cons: None
Location: Everything. Its downtown SF.
Nice, clean and quiet hotel in downtown SF for a reasonable rate. The floors are a little uneven, but that is par for an older building. Room was recently renovated and clean.

Expensive for what you get

Posted 27-Mar-2017
Pros: Clean, proximity
Cons: Communication on parking
Location: Location is good. Close to Union Square and trolley car pickup. Long walk to pier though.
Just home from a weekend stay in San Francisco. Ended up at Diva hotel based on a recommendation from colleague. I had rented a car for the weekend so we could explore the coastline as well. Upon checking in, which was pleasant enough, I was informed that valet parking was the only option available at the hotel, not mentioned on website, which was $55 per day. That is more than my vehicle rental per day. Upon inquiring about other parking, was told that you would just have to drive around until you maybe found something else. A bit more help would have been nice considering there was a self park for $35 per day within a block that was not mentioned. Room was clean, but hotel is tired for the costly per night charge, plus additional $15 for resort fee. (resort fee is a stretch as it is not a resort). Room heating / air conditioning is loud and the cutting in and out all night was enough to wake you up.
Comment from Hotel Management

Thank you for the comments on your recent stay. I apologize you were uninformed of the expensive parking rates in SF. Our valet is operated by a 3rd party company however I can assure you their prices are competitive with the surrounding hotels in our area. I will speak to my team to make sure we are communicating the alternative options better. There are other garages for a bit less however they don't always have in/out privileges and are sometimes full. We greatly value your feedback and wish that your stay would have been more enjoyable. We hope to impress you on a future visit.

Short walk from Union Square

Posted 23-Mar-2017
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room/bathroom are cozy but what you would expect from hotel room in the middle of the city. It was enough space to move around and the bed was so cozy!
