"We loved staying here! The owners and staff were welcoming and did everything to make our stay perfect. The room and bed were clean and comfortable and the hotel grounds were lovely. We enjoyed coffee (thanks Michael!) on our balcony each morning with a view of Mombacho. The breakfast was simple but good with the BEST bread homemade by the owners. The location is close enough to restaurants and the central plaza so that you can easily walk where you want to go, but far enough to be away from too much city noise. Parking is behind the hotel gate next to reception (manned 24/7) so it is convenient and safe to have your car here, although we only used ours for a day trip. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. "

"The door lock was broken, there was a lot of noise on the second floor, and the dog barked incessantly. There is a great restaurant that is associated with the hotel that also served a great breakfast. The pool was refreshing. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending activities. Great laundry service. The room was a nice respite from the heat and with good air conditioning. If you want to see the lively local market, there are a number of vendors only a block down where the locals shop. "
