"Stayed at Bastión Luxury Hotel and had a great experience overall. The hotel was very clean, organized, and well maintained throughout the stay. One of the best parts was the location. Everything was nearby within the walled city as well as Getsemani and easily accessible, which made getting around very convenient. Breakfast was included and offered buffet-style options along with eggs made to order. While the breakfast was somewhat subpar compared to the rest of the hotel experience, there were still enough choices to satisfy different tastes and start the day off comfortably. Overall, a pleasant stay and a great option for convenience, cleanliness, and comfort."

"We had a great stay at Mood Matuna. Having a hotel in such a central location was so useful. We were able to easily walk to the old town and Getsemani also. The room with the private pool was a god choice as it was so hot and nice to cool off after a walk around. The area around the hotel did have some people sleeping on the streets but no one bothered us in fact the people in general were really helpful and friendly including the staff at the hotel. The room was cleaned thoroughly each day and clean towels left when we needed them. Overall a great four nights in a central location."

"Two locks on the door, one worked. Not well equipped kitchen, the refrigerator used for storage, freezer used as a refrigerator. Moldy/mildew smell in the bedroom. Bring spray for small bugs in the bathroom. No soap or body soup. Hair product on the sheets, pillow cases, or towels, they will charge for soiling. However, not for make up. I thought laundry was included in rate. Noise from street and rooftop restaurant/bar/night club until 3 to 4am, sometimes later. No pool. The street entrance to the hotel is questionable. No instructions for the TINY safe in the room. The location of the hotel is good, the staff was great."

"We had no hot water in the shower. The temperature was cool. The rooms do not have direct windows to the outside so they are very dark. No breakfast buffet and the breakfast they did serve was mediocre at best. Four slices of burnt stale toast for two people. No variety of foods. They don’t even give us water. Had to ask for butter and salt and pepper. Completely unprepared. Located on a busy street. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Don’t waste your money. "
