Summary: Detached cottage style apartment in the best location of San Diego. A block to the breathtaking Sunset Cliffs and just up the hill to a sandy cove beach - some of the most beautiful oceans in Southern California, and only a four block walk to all of the fun, eclectic hippie beach town vibes and new, exciting gastronomy and microbreweries on Newport Ave. This is the place you want to be in San Diego. Fully renovated with high end design and finishes. The Space: The comfortable, bright space features one enclosed bedroom with queen bed, attached, fenced outdoor space, and attached bathroom, one partially enclosed bedroom with twin bunk beds, desk workspace, and attached bathroom, full kitchen with every upgrade, high end appliances, and everything you need to live like you're at home, and a bright, spacious living room with seated dining table, smart tv, and a lay flat couch. Please note that the space where the twin bunkbeds are located are not fully enclosed. There is a partial wall and a door that closes to the bedroom and a door to the bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials like pots, pans, and utensils. However, we DO NOT provide cooking oil, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or laundry detergent. Guest Access: You'll have exclusive use of the interior of the entire space during your stay. 1 Exclusive Off Street Parking Space. Private Patio space. Shared courtyard, garden space, and laundry room. The Neighborhood: Ocean Beach often referred to as OB, is one of San Diego's best beach communities. This funky seaside town sits between the Pacific Ocean to the west and the more upscale enclave of Point Loma on the hill to the east. It is laid-back and less rowdy than the San Diego neighborhoods of Mission Beach and Pacific Beach a few miles north. Although Ocean Beach sits on prime waterfront real estate, the neighborhood still exudes a small-town atmosphere, making it an ideal place to live and visit. Where other beach communities have embraced commercialism, Ocean Beach remains fiercely independent and skeptical of wholesale change. You're more likely to see a food co-op than a fast food chain. The Ocean Beach community is so tight-knit that residents often refer to themselves as OBceans, pronounced "oh-BEE-shuns." Getting Around: Once in town, most everything can be done on foot! We're also a short drive or Uber to Downtown, Convention Center, Gas Lamp, Harbor, Waterfront, Seaport Village, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and so much more! This was a great spot to stay and I would rent this unit again. We stayed for two nights and the location was perfect. Close enough to walk to everything in ocean beach. One block away from the sunset cliffs, which so cool! The house was as described. Pretty sparse in terms of towels and such, but it was adequate. Beds were comfortable. The temperature was good. It was nice that they had some coffee, filters and creamer available. The single parking spot was a great thing to have, although I think street parking is doable in this area too. The hosts were very quick to respond. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again and look forward to coming back to ocean beach with my kids. :) ##### Erin F.
