Welcome to Roswitha's Hideaway, our charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom Mission Beach cottage, just steps from the beach. This cozy second-floor retreat offers a comfortable beach lifestyle with all the conveniences of home. Enjoy ample storage, a dedicated garage spot, and a small patio perfect for grilling. The cottage features a welcoming open living space with beachy decor, making it easy to unwind.

Both bedrooms are bathed in natural light, with a queen-size bed, ceiling fan, large windows, and plenty of closet space. One bedroom includes a TV with Roku streaming, while the other is equipped with a desk—ideal for those working remotely by the beach! High-speed WiFi is included. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with sea breeze and a vanity with ample storage. You'll also find extra linens, cleaning supplies, and a step stool just outside.

The open living room offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy time with family and friends, whether it's movie night or game time. The TV offers Roku streaming, with apps accessible via guest credentials. For comfort, there are space heaters for cooler nights and ceiling fans to catch the sea breeze on warm days. Paradise at the beach.

We had an amazing time. We have been staying down in Mission beach a few times a year 20 years. Some of the rentals have been not very nice. This one is right on the money. Clean, nice, beautiful, close to the beach and cozy. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Perfect location!

This place was very cute and clean. Nancy's provided an excellent starter kit so we didn't have to rush to the store. This place was great for our family of 4 and the location is walkable to the beach and Belmont park where we spent a lot of time. We had a wonderful time!

Mission Beach Vacation

This is a charming and comfortable upstairs unit. It's a two-minute walk to the beach, but the unit itself is set back from the beach and upstairs so that you have quiet and privacy throughout the day. It's a relatively small, apartment-type design, but the living room is actually quite spacious, with two comfortable sofas and a big TV. It was really nice to be able to watch movies there with everyone after a day at the beach. The kitchen is well-equipped with enough dishes, pans, etc. so that you can cook if you want to, but there are also some beach-type restaurants nearby. The property is really clean and very comfortable, and the location is absolutely first-rate. You're really, really close to the beach, and Mission Beach is absolutely gorgeous, but you're also within walking distance of Belmont Park, which is a small, traditional California coast amusement park. There are also convenience stores within walking distance, and a an easy fifteen-minute drive takes you to a full-service grocery store with plenty of parking. We had a wonderful time, and I would love to return sometime for another visit.
