Very nice room, a couple minor complaints.

Mostly very good I recommend. The rooms are spacious and business class and I believe the majority of them offer spectacular views of the downtown skyline, the ballpark and the Coronado bridge. And the rooms are clean, well stocked, bathrooms with nice marble tilework and whatnot. Also I've noticed hotel rooms in San Diego seem to be cheap and plentiful. Ok parking at the hotel proper means tagging an additional $65 onto the true price of the hotel room. This is, frankly, a deception about the price of the room. They're not hiding this fee, it's just you know in the small print somewhere (i.e. a deception) Parking on the street is not an option as there is middle of the night street cleaning plus it doesn't really feel safe. There was public parking across the street from the hotel and we didn't check that out so that might be another option. My only other complaint is concerning a drink I ordered at the hotel bar. On Christmas eve. I ordered a Lemon Drop Martini. The bar was not crowded yet it took an oddly long time to recieve the "drink." The "drink" as far as I could tell was lemon juice poured over ice cubes. This is comically bad. When the word martini is in the drink title it should be served in a martini glass at the very least. Ice cubes have no place in martinis. The lemon drop martini is really basic you can google the recipe in about ten seconds?

The staff was extremely helpful. All questions were answered in a professional manner. Our vehicle was brought to the hotel entrance in a timely way. We appreciated that water was available as you entered the hotel. The location was excellent.
