The neighborhood has a few breakfast/coffee shops within a few blocks and a dozen restaurants within a 10 minute stroll. The bay is a few blocks away and the more lively Pacific Beach is a 20 minutes walk north. The condo is reasonably well equipped though sparsely decorated. A washer/dryer, plenty of hot water and some beach equipment add to the conveniences. I would absolutely return. ##### Wendy W. For example, the base boards are pretty dinged and scuffed up, along with some markings on a few walls, and a pretty cheap couch. The front door has a pretty large gap, although I don't believe it's a safety issue, and also missing blinds (there's a very bright outdoor light above the front door). There's also no dedicated beach gear (chairs and umbrellas). That was a pretty big bummer considering how expensive rentals are from in town. However, the listing was accurate in this regard. I just think it would be great to provide, and then take an inventory. If someone doesn't leave the beach gear at the house - charge them. All that said, the home is still amazing and in an awesome location. On top of that, the management team is absolutely superb. Extremely responsive, helpful, and even tried to help me when our car battery died. ##### Dylan M. The condo was beautiful, very clean and well stocked with dishes, beach towels and other beach supplies. The garage was actually bigger than expected based on the description, some of those Mission Beach garages can be tiny.
