We arrived late...11ish pm. The clerk said my reservation was cancelled because we didn't call or check in by 6pm. I had no idea we needed to check in by a certain time. 😳 Thankfully we were still able to get a room. The motel seemed a little sketchy the night we arrived. There was people out and about in the parking lot. A guy waiting outside on a bike. After reading other reviews, I was a little on edge about our stay. The rooms were very small. The sink was clogged. They gave us 3 towels for 4 people. The beds felt extremely used. When we sat on our bed, it felt like we hit the box spring. I had 2nd thoughts about our stay after we checked in. But I already paid in full. And didn't want too look for another room elsewhere. After all it was just a place to sleep. So we stayed. Although it felt unsafe, we had an ok stay. Minus the uncomfortable beds. We stayed an extra night because family came into town. I asked for our room to be cleaned but they didn't clean our room. We went to the beach & wanted to come back to shower & get ready. But I had to go to the office to get some clean towels & tissue. Our floor had sand from our previous beach day. It was annoying but we made it work. Overall, we got what we paid for. $80 a night. A place to sleep. Even if it was with one eye open. 😬

Our beds had stains, the shower had hair in it. The shower and toilet we're nasty, we went and got bleach to feel clean. The floors were full of dirt and crumbs.

Easy parking was great The mattresses on both beds were totally uncomfortable lumpy and hard could feel the springs. The bathroom smelled awful (like crap and the room smelled like cigarettes

The area is littered with homeless and right when you pull up they start walking around checking you and your belongings out. Super sketchy and I dont recommend staying here.

This hotel is terrible.. I didn’t feel safe to go outside at night and the room was not very comfortable or clean. Will not go there anymore.

The room was SO FILTHY it was incredible. With my body heat the bed got warm & then the most INCREDIBLE ROTTEN SMELL STARTED TO COME OUT. So bad, that it woke me up. Even for free, nobody should stay at this DUMP!

Horrible property. The mattress was destroyed, the shower so small that I couldn’t lift my leg to wash without falling (I’m 175 lbs), and vagrants walked the property all night. Will never stay here again. The area was nice though.

Lots of homeless lingering the area. People in cars. I wasn’t bothered by any one of them. Person next door was smoking cigarettes in their room. I knocked on door and told them to smoke outside. The smoke was coming in my room. Obviously it’s a no smoking area. The room did NOT have heating. Office gave me a portable heater that did NOT work. Rooms need to be checked periodically. Check the mattresses as well. I stayed the prior week and had to sleep diagonally because I would have fell off the bed due to mattress damage like broken springs. I was visiting out of town. Definitely won’t be staying there again. No compensation for nothing. Do better Motel6. Worst visit and I did NOT enjoy my stay. I will NOT be back.

Top 5 worst motels I’ve stayed in. Property had moldy dog feces all around the perimeters. Our room was covered in dust (we took photos and videos, it was that bad.) There was a DISGUSTING white/yellow substance on the bed ruffle, easy for anyone to see. There were dusty bunnies and hair under the sink area. The floor of the shower was stained like someone had dyed their hair in there and they didn’t both trying to get rid of it. One bed was completely sagged in and springs in our backs. Thankfully we had a second bed that wasn’t nearly as bad, but it was next to the window. The person above us was smoking in their room and paced nonstop from 12-5 am. When we had finally had it, we called the front desk to ask them to intervene, they were completely rude to me. They said “you should have called about smoke smell when you checked in” when I clearly stated it was happening AT THAT MOMENT. they hung up on me when I tried explaining how the person above us was making so much noise all night it was disturbing us and our dogs. I’m surprised this property and the one we stayed at the night before are even capable of holding the “motel 6” banner.

Cheap but not easy
I’m ok with a room that appears to be outdated however clean and unsafe is something I can’t compromise. The floors were dirty and I also found broken glass in between the box spring and mattress. I always check for bed bugs. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this isn’t it. Right off a busy freeway and construction going on as well. If you just need a place to shower and lay your head and don’t care about anything else, than this is your place!

I always stay at this motel when I am in town, and always have had a great experience. This however, the heater in the room didn't work. It just blew out cool to cold air, even at the hottest setting. I called the desk, and she was very nice, and said that she would call someone to come check it out. No one came and I spent the night in the cold room. I am back home now and have been sick since last night. Was not a very good experience for me this time.

No way my room was cleaned before I entered. There was still a women’s eye lashes stuck to the wall, I used to come here when I was in town 3 years ago and nothing like this. Garbage all over the walkways and people screaming I will never take my family here again

Bad time at Motel 6
It was going good untill I found out you have to pay extra for micro wave and refrigerator . Then the electricity went out all night from 9pm till check out. No hot water it sucked
