This property encompasses the entire first level of a 2-home duplex and has a separate entrance and outdoor space with ocean views. The open-concept living area comes with leather furniture in front of a roaring fireplace and large TV. The dining area is tucked away in a space under a colorful wall display and chandelier. A minimalist dining table easily accommodates a group of 6 with additional seating at the nearby breakfast bar. The ocean-view kitchen has the feel of a professional chef’s space with its stainless steel-faced cabinets and appliances, slab granite countertops, and elegant, streamlined look. Besides the prime Pacific Beach location, Bluewater Surfside 1 features a ground-level gated patio in the front, complemented by tropical foliage, giving it a true California beach feel. Just far enough off the beach to have a little privacy while still having perfect access to the beach - beautiful sunsets! The house has a great kitchen and nice family room for gathering that links perfectly with the roomy front patio. We really enjoyed the firepit. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable too. Bluewater was super attentive and responded to inquiries rapidly even over the holiday. We really enjoyed our stay. The property is in a fantastic location and laid out to capitalize on the ocean view for the kitchen and outdoor patio. Nice bedrooms and sleeping arrangements. The location was perfect and the view from the kitchen / patio was beautiful. There was a lot of space to relax, and the outdoor patio was especially nice to spend time at. Plenty of room and a great size kitchen. However it was not listed that the back two bedrooms do not have A/C vents in them (at least I don't think it was) and you can heat the residents upstairs at all times. ##### Sara P. The location can't be beat- three houses from the beach and worth the cost. They have an agreement with a local beach rental company so you can rent chairs, boogie boards, surfboards, and more free of charge. The kitchen had lots of space and great usable appliances. The patio was nice in the evenings and had a hose to rinse sand off before entering the house. There is also an electric car charging cable available. We didn't have trouble finding nearby street parking for additional cars, especially off-peak hours. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The rental company was very responsive and had great customer service when we had hot water and fan issues. Keep in mind that you can hear the upstairs neighbors (footsteps in particular), so bring a white noise machine if you are a light sleeper. ##### Danielle O. A really beautiful location. Lots of foot traffic, but a very good spot for a VRBO. The management company was very kind and responsive. We did have an issue with the hot water in the unit, it was spotty at best. The company that runs the unit, was very very good to us, they immediately offered a solution. ##### Raquel V. The location is perfect and you can see the whole ocean and pier from the kitchen. Maybe we missed it but one of the bedrooms has a curtain and not a door so just something to note. Plenty of restaurants and shopping at walking distance. The beach was steps away. I do have to say that if you get the lower level you will hear everything going on upstairs. During our stay we repeatedly received text messages about us being to loud when we were not even at the house or already sleeping. The management company was very helpful and even accommodated our late check out for a fee of course. Overall we would definitely recommend this place to stay and look forward to returning. ##### Liliana S. Plenty of Beach toys (surf boards, boogie boards, etc.) in the garage to play with. The location was excellent! You can effortlessly see the beautiful Pacific out the windows of the kitchen. The kitchen was well outfitted with pots, pans and a great SubZero fridge. The only drawback was having a tenant above us and hearing their footsteps from time to time. Beds were comfortable as was the couch! Would definitely stay here again!! Thanks for the wonderful memories!! ##### Aviran B. This home was spacious and perfect for 2 families of 4 that included 2 kids age 3\. Ocean views from the kitchen, wine by the fire pit at night while BBQ-ing, an easy, paved walk down to shops and restaurants right on the beach. Sunsets were a great way to end the day. We had 2 cars and were originally concerned about finding parking for the second on the street, but it was never an issue and always had a spot directly in front of the gate to the house. The house had toys for the kids, beach chairs, towels and all the necessary things to make our stay comfortable. Each room had a TV with easy access to our streaming services to watch family movies at night. Vacation to remember and we would definitely come back! ##### Jenn p.
