The main house, La Hacienda, which is situated on one of the largest corner lots in Mission Beach, now features three ground floor bedrooms, a living space, and a dining room facing the ocean with a wrap-around deck to accommodate your family with endless ocean views. The BBQ area and fire pit are located on the north side of the property for your privacy and enjoyment. The ground floor also has its own private hot tub tucked away on the south side. The second floor of the main house provides you with an oceanfront primary suite and two other bedrooms. You will wake up with unobstructed ocean views right from the comfort of your comfy King-size bed in the primary suite that faces West. You will also enjoy a second living area "den" area with a queen sleeper sofa and a wine fridge for your convenience. Enjoy sitting on the patio outside the primary bedroom and second floor living room area, enjoying the view with a great cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. In addition to these lovely interior areas, the main house now offers a roof top deck sitting area with endless views of Mission Beach. This home includes Air Conditioning split units in almost every room, high-speed fiber internet, an indoor washer and dryer, a private 8-person hot tub, and multiple TVs for your enjoyment. Please note, this home has alot of steps within, as well as a couple to enter. If you are not comfortable with stairs, we would suggest another rental. The main ocean front house sleeps a total of 14 people (if you include the queen sofa sleeper upstairs) with a maximum of 14 people at any given time, and offers 3 parking garage spaces. These parking areas can accommodate two compact vehicles in the garages and one larger or two smaller vehicles in the outdoor space. This home has beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards ready for all your beach days! The attached apartment, La Siesta, offers two bedrooms on the 2nd floor, a 3rd floor kitchen and living area with sleeper sofa, that looks out on a great roof top deck for your outdoor enjoyment complete with BBQ grilling station. It had plenty of rooms, bathrooms and patio space. However, for the amount of money we were paying, there were several shortcomings:1.The back patio with the hot tub was extremely dirty, with a lot of garbage between the wall and hot tub.2\. The only downside was deferred maintenance issues that hadn't been addressed prior to our stay. Two of the air conditioners made horrible noises during the night and had to be shut off. (Because one day was a holiday no one was available to fix them for 3 days!)The screen doors on each of the patios wouldn't slide due to sand and salt air exposure. The deck is quite spacious and great to relax to watch the day go by. The one thing I was quite disappointed in was the BBQ. It was one of the only specific things I inquired about and even double checked to make sure there would be enough propane to cook the Birthday dinner. When I turned the grill on it took quite a bit to get it going. Once it was lit 2 of the 4 burners actually went out and the other 2 only heated the grill to about 80 degrees. Needless to say we could not use it and had to change our entire dinner plan and cook the food inside. We made due but it was a huge disappointment. There were some burned out light bulbs and the wifi quit working for while but the property manager came by and had it working in a short time. This place was perfect for my family and friends! It is the best home away from home we have ever visited! If you are looking for white carpet and somewhere you are afraid to sit down, then this is not the place for you! This is a comfy, cozy place with lots of character. A place where you can put your feet up on the coffee table and relax while watching the waves break. The house is incredibly well stocked with everything you need to have a truly worry-free vacation. Plenty of towels, glasses, plates, silverware, and a dishwasher to take care of them. It had a blender for margaritas, surfboards for the teenagers and the B-B-Q could be used while watching the sunset on the ocean. The fire pit was perfect for the cool evenings and when it got a little too chilly, we would hop into the warm jacuzzi. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are modern and clean. Sitting on the beach was not allowed, but we had a big beautiful deck to sit on, watch people walk on the beach, and enjoy surfing and waves. The management company was wonderful to work with. No bars in closets to hang clothing. The door combination did not work for the gate leading to the hot tub, we had to go through an occupied bedroom or out through a window in another bedroom.
