"The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...

The host provided very useful recommendations about the property, dining, shopping and other activities. The shops in town were great, including the butcher, the bakery and the pasticceria, not to mention the chef and team at AlterEgo restaurant. "Beautiful property but many millipedes everywhere, water off several times, dogs barking every night, nosy owner who came by daily and we had to pay for electricity used for time there. We have rented many times from HomeAway but never was charged for electricity. We did get deposit refunded the day we left minus charge for electricity. Besides the above we did enjoy our stay there."

"This place is a gem! The main house is very cozy and has interesting artwork and furnishings. The food is terrific and Magdalena, the cook, is a delightful character. You can cook with her which is lots of fun. The pool is very nice and large. The staff is also super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend!"
