Great spot, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice bathroom, in center of town, pack earplugs for bell tower which you hear from anywhere close by.

The hotel is in a good location. Everything is nearby. Only thing to consider is that the church across the street has events so the organ sounds come late into the night. Otherwise the hotel is great, staff is great. We will come here again

We had a rental car and specifically l search hotel with parking included. Getting here, we had no parking spot. That was not a pleasant surprise. Other than that everything was ok. Clean and good breakfast included.

I stayed for multiple days at The Hotel Montana. It was the perfect bass for day hikes around Cortina d’Ampezzo and the Dolomites. The property is perfectly situated in the center of town - right in front of the bell tower walking distance to restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping. Hotel Montana has a total of 30 rooms which is perfect when you are looking for a more personable stay. The staff and management is warm and welcoming. There are 2 puppies on site (at times) which i thought was cool. Breakfast is a nice spread. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Love the owner’s personal art collection of 30 years. The walls of Hotel Montana are filled with original art from 25 years of collection. It is the best hotel in town. I highly recommend this property

Basic amenities but low price
Simple hotel. A little stinky but a warm staff and good location. Basic breakfast with breads, granola, coffee from a machine, yogurt, hard boiled eggs.

Historic hotel right in the middle of the pedestrian area of Cortine d'Ampezzo, this was a very convenient starting place for hiking in the area. I had booked a single room so was not surprised that it was small, but there was lots of room in the closet for luggage and to hang clothes so the space was well used. The bathroom was also small but workable. breakfast was good, nothing special but complete with meats, breads, cheese, etc. no fruit, only juice. The only thing, I wish the entrance/sitting area was more comfortable for just sitting/relaxing. As the room was small I would have like to relax in a comfy chair in the foyer. Ah well. very good value for the money.

Great place!
The staff at Hotel Montana was wonderful. We didn’t get the name of the woman working the breakfast room, but she was so pleasant and helpful! And our room was kept super clean our entire stay. The location was great, near the bus station and many restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay there again!

The location in centre of town was super-convenient, with supermarket and every kind of café, bar or restaurant moments away, with information office across the road. It is only a 4-5 minute's walk from the main bus station and Faloria Gondola. Staff were obliging with advice and there were eggs for breakfast ahead of a strenuous day. My room had a cheerful décor.

Fantastico!
Everything was perfect; the staff, the breakfast, and cleanliness. The bedd and pillows were not that comfortable but it did not ruin my days. I would definitely re-book for the close proximity to everything on the square and the positive environment.

Good price - parking dodgy
Nice hotel - but breakfast room too small with some queuing. Parking is for 6 tiny spaces and my hire car was hit by another hotel guest. Rooms are clean and ours quite large - sheet and blanket and a top duvet - I didn’t expect that. Bathroom clean and modern

Centrally located, small space
Centrally located on the pedestrian walkway. Room was comfortable although quite small. Bathroom and bath are also small but not uncomfortable if your body size is small. No shower amenities. Good breakfast. Limited parking on premisses.

Everything you need in the center of Cortina
Cozy and friendly. 2 of 6 reserved parking spots are for electric car charging. The rooms and hallways are filled with funky themed art.

Hotel Montana
This hotel was such a delightful surprise! It is perfectly located off the main pedestrian street through downtown, yet was easy enough to obtain one of their designated tiny (anything in city center in Europe will be tiny for parking) parking spots behind the hotel for our rental car. The friendly gentleman who worked the front desk gave us easy directions to follow in order to find their parking without hassle. We stayed in a few other hotels in Cortina, but Hotel Montana was by far our favorite for the budget, location, quiet nights as it’s situated away from the highway, and the friendly staff. The traditional European style breakfast was tasty and filling. We hope to be back next year!

Perfect location - would stay there again!
At first I was a little disappointed that there was no small fridge in our room to keep drinks, fruit etc in and there was no washing & drying facilities available, nor close by so I was a bit critical in my initial thoughts considering we were staying for 5 nights at the end of 7 weeks travelling in Europe. However, we were very happy at the Montana as it was so central to everything like buses, restaurants, co-op and other shops. The staff were cheerful, easy to get along with and the breakfast included each morning was excellent! The lady who served us was wonderful and we could eat as much as we needed. The housekeeping was also fantastic, bathroom spotless and the lady who cleaned our room was very friendly. The furnishings are a little tired looking but we got a good nights sleep, especially as the bell tower is directly opposite our hotel! We got good wi-fi, we noted that there was a vendor machine for drinks and tea & coffee - maybe because there are no facilities in the rooms. Overall, we got good value for money and would recommend the Montana to others!

Perfect location directly in front of the cathedral, along the pedestrian boulevard. Breakfast was good and breakfast staff very friendly. If interested in excursions or hiking, make sure to get recommendations from Matthieu who is outstanding among the staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Montana. The walk from the bus station was about 10 minutes downhill. The hotel was easy to find as it is on the main street where all the actions and stores are and literally across from the tourist Info Point centre which was useful. The reception staff and owner are always helpful and welcoming. They went out of their way to help us find information about our hikes since we went before the official hiking season. The room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was great served by a wonderful lady. However, on busy mornings you might have to wait for a table. Overall, we recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Clean, comfortable, fantastic location
Center of the town on the main walking street, with many shops and cathedrals. Friendly helpful staff, The only down side is that the parking is suitable only for small cars. Good breakfast. I have stayed there before and look forward to staying there again.

Fantastic experience, nice room with small balcony and mountain views over other buildings. Great shower, friendly staff and able to borrow two bicycles to ride around town. One day the wifi didn't really work, but that's my only downside. Nice European style breakfast.
