The property was nice, but I had to call for two days in a row to get my room cleaned. The first day when I called at 4pm, I was asked if I had the do not disturb sign on my door. I said no, I didn't put the sign on the door. I thought that question was out of line. They simply missed my room and did not apologize for the question or them missing the room only that they would talk to the house cleaning manager. Luckily, 40 minutes later they sent someone up to clean the room. The second day I called, my family and I left the room at 9:15 only to return around 3 pm and once again the room has not been cleaned. So, once again I called housekeeping and the gentleman that answered the phone this time, apologized and said he would send someone up immediately. Someone did arrive and clean the room. The fact that my room was missed twice is inexcusable. I frequent Marriott often and have never had an experience like this.

The property was very nice and we loved it was off the riverwalk. Lots of people all over coming in and out of the hotel very hectic. We pulled up so I could go in and get us checked in. My husband asked if they provided valet parking and was told no. We found out a few hours on the way back to the property valet parking was available. The young lady at the desk didn’t greet me. She asked me my name and proceeded to check me in. That didn’t sit well with me at all but I finished checking in and my husband and I proceeded to our room. Overall our getaway was what we needed and the Westin didn’t disappoint!

Original room near elevator - very loud appears like an elevator has a problem. Requested to be moved; next room was better but the elevator could still be heard. Westin should really get this checked out. We would not stay there again unless I read that they addressed the issue. The hotel is in a great location and the room was large and comfortable.

This hotel was wonderful, great location. HOWEVER, we used valet parking and someone hit a curb in my vehicle. Pretty good too, that’s 12 inches of curb rash. Whoever did it KNEW they hit a curb but failed to admit it. We understand things happen, but you have to make it right. The manager was great. We filed a claim, but somehow that claim was denied…. This is completely unacceptable. And for this reason, we’d never go back nor recommend this hotel. Had things been made right, we would have a completely different opinion. Honesty and integrity goes a long ways.

our room was not what we expected for the price we paid, mini fridge didnt work, water came out of every part of the shower but the shower head, but we didnt stay for the room so we didnt make it a big deal, we went for the riverwalk and the surrounding attractions.

Classic lovely hotel in a very convenient location. Our room was not ready at 4:35 for a 4:00 checkin and we were offered a downgraded room but no conciliations were offered. A room that met the basic outline of our reservation was found but was dreadful, noisy, not clean and much less than expected. We luckily connected with the concierge, Petra, who helped us move to a better room later in the evening. Our second room had a terrific patio but unfortunately was loud at times due to elevator mechanical issues. Overall, the property could use an update, frayed carpeting noted in each of our rooms.

As we walked into this hotel, we were blown away with this wonderful aroma of goodness. This hotel smelled like no other hotel we have ever been in. The ambiance and setting in the hotel was very fine quality. The staff was AMAZINGGG each day !!!!We stayed a few nights to celebrate our 27th anniversary and when I tell you John the bellman made it such a special and wonderful experience. He went above and beyond and has such a great personality and kind spirit. We shared with him that it was our anniversary and the next day he told the concierge Phyliss of it and they delivered fresh handmade chocolate covered strawberries with champagne and the most sweetest note congratulating us on our anniversary. We can't wait to go back!!!!Thank you The Westin for making our weekend very special!!!!

Really nice looking hotel in an excellent location right on the Riverwalk. Pool was small, gym was poor. We had to ask the front desk just to get our room made up after two days. Our room also backed on to the elevators which sounded like old pipes in January.

The location is great at the Westin River walk. We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness when we first arrived. However the front desk the next day heard our concerns and addressed the issues. They moved us to a better room.

Rooms are outdated and feel like a lot of issues were just painted over to conceal them some decor was clearly broken. There were issues with the elevators and they were so loud we could hear them moving throughout the night. The walls were very thin I could hear the people next door chatting. The sheets where like paper, way to much starch. The pillows were so flat I fought with them all night trying to find some support. Staff was great though

My family was so excited to have saved $ to stay in the Westin in San Antonio. We arrived and the Valet attendant was very kind. I went inside to check in and the line was very long and not enough workers. My husband and son were sitting with the luggage cart when I finished checking in. They were not allowed to bring the cart to the room, so the bell hop had to help us. He told us to go ahead of him to the room and we did. We got unpacked and about 30 minutes later I asked my husband what happened to my coat, since it was freezing outside. We couldn't find it. So we traced out steps and found it on the ground. The Bell hop had dropped it when he was brining our luggage up to the room. Then he went back the same way and had to have rolled over it on his way back down. Maybe I didn't tip enough. Not sure why he would have done this. I called and reported my missing coat and no one got back. I also called a second time since the entire room was full of water damage and the smell was horrible. Water lines were going down the wall all in the room. I took photos as well. I asked if they could help me and they said that the only thing they could do was have maintenance come check on it. Well, they never did come check and my family all got ill this weekend staying in that moldy room. Not good. I was so very disappointed after having such high expectations. Other than those two major things the rest of the hotel seemed very nice.
