Stayed at hotel for 4 nights, 5 days. Got severely ill on day 3, reported to hotel, no action taken - sickness & upset stomach. Upon return to UK was admitted into hospital for suspected food poisoning - this has subsequently been confirmed by Hospital as Salmonella. Did not eat anywhere else whilst out in Ibiza. Was not able to leave the hotel room and really ruined trip.

We are deeply sorry you have felt poorly during your stay and not being immediately informed as we would have called a doctor for a check up and for her to be able to enjoy the remaining of your holidays among us, however we would like to take the opportunity to point out that our hotel, like all hotels of our chain, undergoes regular independent audits sent both by the company and the tour operators we collaborate with to ensure our strict food safety management procedures, imposed on a global level by the company, are being followed and thoroughly respected at all times as under no circumstances would we put our guests’ health at risk by serving food in bad conditions, your safety being of course our main concern. During your stay we are not aware that any other client has become ill therefore we can only assume that you may have consumed something outside the hotel during your stay or on your way to United Kingdom and sincerely hope that you are totally recovered as we speak. In any case inform you also that we have opened an investigation and we are analyzing all our health and safety records during your stay, once we have all the analysis data we will inform you about our investigation.
