Ended up paying 987£ for 3 nights. Very unhelpful staff. Basic room for the money paid. Will not stay there again. Very disappointing

It does indeed sound from what you describe that some aspects of your stay did not meet our usual standards of service; please accept our sincerest apologies for failing to make your stay with us a perfect moment of relaxation, we sincerely appreciate you taking the time to bring this matter to our attention.
We are very sorry to read that your kids didn't take full advantage of the wide array of activities organized by our professional mini club staff and sincerely hope they will join the activities on a future occasion.
The Mini club is only closed on Sundays but we have family activities so everybody can join in.
The rest of the days we have activities for kids with our brand new programme " Happy MInds" which is based on Gardner´s multiple intelligences where they can learn and have fun and develop multiple skills.
Balls pond is always operative but sometimes the kids remove some of the balls and we have to sanitise them very often.
At Barceló Hotel Group we lay high value on our personnel being guest oriented and welcoming at all times, being fully aware that their interactions with our guests have an enourmous impact on the overall holiday expérience in our hotels, therefore we are sincerely sorry to read your comments on the service your received and commit to adjust any situation that leads us away from our goal being to make sure our guests feel welcome and attended to at all times.
