Staff was rude a hell and said we should have booked through them and not Expedia and they e would have given better service! Did not care that I had knee problems still would not let me have ground floor and said that they did not appreciate me bringing a boat! Breakfast was non existent and filthy! The beds were sitting on square tubing that stuck out and you hit your ankles on! I will never stay here nor recommend it to anyone!

For what and where it is, this is a fantastic place to stay and at a good price. It is an older hotel, though the mattresses and such seem to be newer and everything smells fresh. I have used other local options and this location out performs some of the higher priced locations nearby. So you are on a budget and want nice, clean and still convenient, this place tics all the boxes.

We have stayed @ this property in the past. It was always clean, quiet and the breakfast was reasonable. We spent Saturday Night 2/2/24, checking out 2/25/24. When we went to dining area, it was TERRIBLE. The coffee pot was empty, the gallon milk jug was empty, there was NO orange juice (though there were glasses that said "theses ARE FOR JUICE, only). NO pastries, of ANY kind, NO Yogurt, only 3 oranges, NO bananas, NO apples! The front desk clerk was VERY RUDE when I brought this to her attention! We have been using WYNDOM properties for years. This was a SLAP IN THE FACE! We will NOT ever use THIS DAYS INN, AGAIN!

Said was pet friendly. They were not! NO PETS ALLOWED even though it says they are online. Booked a double. They only had single. Ended up cancelling and going to another hotel.

The front desk at check-in was very rude. Our room appeared to have some kinda water leak so it smelled terrible like mold and there was a shop fan in the room like they were working. We will not stay here again.

It could be a decent lower priced motel if the grounds were cleaned up and the pool was repaired. Rooms were dated but fairly clean. Except for the mattress protector. It had fresh blood stains all over it. I was so tired i didny complain i just removed the pad , the mattress was not stained so i slept well with the protector removed. Bath tub qas clean and big and lots of hor water. I spoke qith staff the next morning aboit the nasty protective cover and he seemed genuinely embarrassed amd apologizetic. We wont stay here again.

I was looking for an inexpensive room for me and my daughter. Pictures online do not match what you get when you arrive. Beds were okay but bathroom and vanity ares was dirty and outdated. Bathroom door was separated and would catch on door jam causing loud bang. Facility did not inspire confidence of safety. I am not able to recommend.

Someone overbooked this location and they did not have a room for us. Fortunately, I'm considerate and called to let them know we wouldn't arrive until 10, because otherwise we would have showed up at ten with two kids and been turned away. Do better, Days Inn San Angelo.

The room itself was kept very impressively clean, props for the lady in charge of that. She is very sweet. The room pricing is very affordable. My recommendations as I observed that would help improve the stay experience for your future clients are as follows: 1.) Get a new printer for the lady at the front desk, that might make her job a little easier & help her improve her costumer service skills, I’m sure she is very sweet and friendly. 2.) I would also like to recommend (for room 208) to get a new desk chair. 3.) A new shower curtain that stays open & doesn’t close in at the middle could contain the water & keep it from making a puddle on the floor. 4.) It would be nice to know, and be directed to, the available stair case upon checking in. Since two of them on one side are not available. 5.) Upon arrival, it might also be convenient to get heads up that the laundry machines (promoted in the amenities) are out of order, same for the ice machine. 6.) I also believe that if the outside looks, and cleanliness of the amenities areas had a bit of a face lift, could improve the overall appearance.

The hotel was overbooked, so we got put in the handicap suite which only had a walk in shower. The walk in shower was leaking all over the bathroom floor due to the shower either not being installed properly OR the caulking under the ramp needed to be redone… and we had to use all our towels to soak up the water after each use. The lack of a bath was very frustrating having two small kiddos to bathe. The pool was out of service, which was also frustrating having two small kiddos who were very excited to swim. The only ice machine was out of service. The tray with coffee, tea, etc in our room was dirty and had coffee grounds all over it like it wasn’t changed out from the last guests. There was an outlet plate that was coming completely off the wall and the outlet unit itself was loose… and was touching one of the beds. Definitely unsafe and a fire hazard.

Front desk check-in gals were very nice. Room was okay, except for one non-working electrical outlet. Hotel itself very rundown with two stairwells inexplicably boarded up preventing access, upper floor ice machine not working, washing machine not working, and common area trash cans not picked up. Yet while I was there they were sold out (no vacancy) so perhaps some people don’t mind that atmosphere but I personally would not stay there again.

Service was tale of 2 cities. When we arrived to check in (at 6:15 pm), the front desk was unattended. There was a woman sleeping (?) on the sofa in front of the lobby TV. We spent 10 minutes trying to find a clerk, calling out loudly, etc., but no one came. Finally we looked up a local phone number to call. While waiting for an answer, the woman sleeping in the lobby suddenly arose to check us in! Definitely seemed very weird. After we checked out and got home, discovered we had left our bed pillows in our room. The person who answered our call went above and beyond to reclaim our pillows. Unexpectly good effort and outcome. We were thankful. The facility as a whole needs a lot of maintenance. Room had been sprayed with a breathtaking amount of air freshener. Room AC worked well & bed was competent. Bathroom facilities worked properly.

Personally picked this because it advertised a pool but the pool was "closed for the season.." its July. In Texas. Kept asking room service for extra towels and at one point Housekeeper serviced room and took all the towels but not the trash and I had to search for someone to get more towels.

The property demands a $100 deposit above and beyond payment for the room. I did not see this announced anywhere prior to check-in, where a sign on the counter explained it. "Even if you paid through a 3rd-party agency..." I felt accused. I'm sure the hotel has had problems leading to this, but I didn't cause those problems.
