The hotel is a lovely location within short walk from downtown and to the beautiful walkway along the lake. The room and bathroom were modern and spotless. Breakfast was adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Alex who helped to resolve a booking issue in a kind and efficient manner. The garden and pool are superbly well maintained. A very satisfying experience.

The hotel was absolutely great and look forward to retuning in the near future. The staff were really friendly and helpful.The appeared to glide around when in service around clients. The rooms had everything we required, spacious and very clean. Always fresh towels in bathroom and toiltries. Bottled water left each day. Nice area around pool and very well kept gardens (maintained every morning) sunbeds and chairs and towels to use on these availible. The hotel situated well to walk into Salo harbour area and town.

An excellent small hotel with loads of space in the hotel and lakeside grounds. Numerous great areas around the pool, lake front or shaded space to chill on sun-beds. All rooms have lake views. The hotel is on the edge of the lake with great views across it. Breakfast excellent with plenty of choices. Good evening meal options if you didn't want to walk the 5 minutes into Salo. Hotel is a great base to explore the rest of the lake locations from. Excellent and helpful staff. All spoke good english as my italian is very limited. Can't fault the hotel. Thinking about next years holiday already!

Great hotel with amazing views! Superb location, a 5 minute walk into the central area where the restaurants and bars are. Would stay again!

It's in a fantastic position with beautiful gardens leading down to the lake. All rooms have a view of the lake. It is also only a five minute flat walk to the old town.

Hotel Salo'du Parc is a wonderful hotel. Staff are amazing, location is perfect and the grounds / hotel are kept in top condition. The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast, it is always empty of food and often you need to ask for them to bring out more meats or hot food. As ever thank you for our stay.

Hotel Salo Du Parc is my favourite hotel - I return twice a year and it is superb. But I have just returned from a 5 day break there and the breakfast really was very disappointing. It is served from 7.30am - 10.30 am - But if you do not go early the popular plates such as cold meats and fruits are very empty. If breakfast is served until 10.30am at 10.15 the plates should still be fully stocked as though it is 7.30. We will be returning in August and hope this will have been rectified as there will be 7 in our group. Apart from this the hotel is faultless - amazing staff, service, cleanliness and overall one of the best. Thank you Hotel Salo Du Parc

Everything with the actual hotel was amazing. However we had a rental car that was parked in their garage and someone hit it but they had no cameras to help us find out who it was. This resulted in a damage fee of €2000... we were extremely disappointed with the hotel for not taking liability or having any cameras

The location, right on the lake and only a hundred or so meters from the town was superb. Excellent rooms. The only criticism was that they did not replenish the bottled water and convenience packs in the bedrooms. The reception and restaurant staff however were superb.

Close to beach and Town / Boat transfers
My friend and I stayed here 1- 8 October so the hotel was very quiet. We walked into Town every day (less than a 5 minute walk for us and we’re both 60). There are two ways to walk in to Town - left out of hotel and then under the arch through a cobbled lane or along the lake front - both lovely and safe to walk even at night. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and had a lake view (Room 409). Continental Breakfast was plentiful for us and not rushed, but as I said the hotel was not very busy. We had dinner at the hotel twice which was reasonably priced. However, you could easily eat much cheaper if you went to the cafes at the various stops around the lake. Bar drinks at the hotel were similar to outside and the bar staff were lovely and helpful. There is a nice pool and you could also take a dip in the lake via steps. Our only gripe was our beds - as the were VERY hard! We both woke with sore hips each morning ! But again that might just be because we’re old! Overall loved our staff here and would definitely go back.

Enjoyable
Our room was on the 5th floor, with the most delightful and wonderful views overlooking Lake Garda,from our little terrace, very serene. An invigorating swim in the pool, was also very enjoyable! My only complaint is,the very uncomfortable flat hard pillows ! Very friendly and helpful staff especially at the Reception.

We loved Salo and this hotel was perfect for us. We would love to go back. The staff were friendly and helpful. The position on the edge of town is a quick walk to the Main Street and promenade. The restaurant dinner was beautiful food, as was the breakfast buffet each morning. The property was just beautiful, lovely gardens, a couple of families of ducks visiting in the little boat harbour with their babies, the views up the lake from the balcony were spectacular. A gorgeous blue inviting pool with plenty of choices for your deck chair. A bar well stocked with backgammon & chess boards and a big shelf of paperbacks by the rooms. Everything you could ask for and wonderful staff.

This hotel is very very good. Staff is friendly, see view room are spacious and clean with balcony , breakfast great choice , good parking in garage right opposite to hotel 14eur/day , close to the center Salò ( 5min walk ) . The Salò is very nice place with nice promenade, friendly tasty restaurants ( one of the best is Tirabusu )

Stunning view, perfect location!
Lovely hotel, with a relaxed ambiance, a pool (which a lot of hotels in the area don’t have), incredible views of lake Garda, with a pier that leads directly on to the lake from the hotel so you can go in for a swim if you get too hot sunbathing (the sun beds are great at this hotel, they have pull down hoods to shield your face). The restaurants and shops of Salo are a 3 minute walk away, located just on the prominade, so this hotel is perfectly located. We are a couple in our thirties who stayed in a junior suite with a lake view for 5 nights in August & Salo was the perfect romantic location for us & this hotel mainly because of the view of the lake & the location to restaurants was absolutely perfect for us. Would highly recommend! Amazing place! (Thursday night is Salo is great because there is live music until 2300 in the town square!)

A place to lay back before joining the fray
The hotel is near the end of the promenade and therefore close to a range of meals. It is a longer walk to the boats, shopping and better eateries. For those arriving by local bus, the stop is just across the street, very convenient. The grounds are well cared for and a pleasant place to lounge. The breakfast facilities are really satisfying. Outdoors or indoors. Some of the best fresh fruit and yogurt on our trip. We needed an iron to press our shirts for dinner, but did not find one in the room. Nor did we see an ironing room amoung the facilities. We should have seen whether they had one. Things hung, Italian style, but there was little drawer space to allow us to emplty our bags of the non-hangables. The refrigerator was a bit warm, but cold enough not to damage medications we carried.

It is included in the price of the room and we want to give you an excellent service. I noticed that he mentioned the iron. Unfortunately, in the rooms it is not possible to iron as prohibited by the fire-fighting law that regulates our structure and that we must absolutely respect for a reason of safety towards our customers and staff. However the hotel offers an ironing service. You have to contact the reception that organizes the collection of clothes by the maids and return it after a few hours. Best location for Salo
Another great stay at the Salo du Park. Superbly situated with direct access to the lake only minutes from the many excellent shops, bars and restaurants of Salo.

Seventies glamour
The seventies might not be the obvious decade for glamour - but this hotel is sleek glamour all over! Not immediately beautiful when you arrive, it reveals itself when you go into reception - and even more so when you see the views from every room and every public space. Quality of the finish is brilliant! Staff are delightful.

Delightful
We had a gorgeous room with little sitting terrace, fantastic views of the lake, great air con too! Buffet breakfast was ideal, and really good;evening meals overlooking pool were absolutely excellent.. delicious food, beautifully presented, very helpful staff. We'd definitely stay again.

Great place to stay in Salo
Very well located hotel - our room was spacious and had a great view. Reception staff very efficient and welcoming when we arrived and when we had to move room due to an air conditioning issue.

Stayed here for a week. First night ate in restaurant. Uninspiring menu. Room was large with balcony and lake view. Décor minimalist. Very clean. Bed was large and firm, very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel very quiet. Not busy. No entertainment. In one word - soulless.

Wonderful Stay in Salo
Had a wonderful stay at hotel. Hotel is in great location, staff are courteous. Breakfast small but adequate. Beds not so comfortable but rooms clean and tidy. Plenty of sun beds and shaded areas right on the lake - it is a wonderful setting. Town of Salo has some lovely restaurants and places to visit. Hire a boat it is well worth the money and a great way to see the Lake. Highly recommend hotel for your stay in Lake Garda.

Chilling on the lakes!
On the 5th floor - what a view, and comes with bonus an extra large terrace with sun beds. Lovely grounds in which you can fully relax and unwind all day long in and out of the pool. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold food. Staff very helpful. Fantastic location with a nice walk along the prom into Salo.

Very comfortable and convenient
Second visit to Hotel Salo du Parc. Ideally situated close to Salo, so that it is easy to walk to everything if wish to go into town - shops, restaurants or use ferry service. Ideal to spend afternoon sitting by Lake side or hotel pool. Comfortable rooms, staff friendly and helpful. Happy to recommend.

Hotel close to town with pool
Location is excellent as a short walk to Salo We would highly recommend Salo - lovely litke town with good selection of restaurants Best Gelateria ever is next to Duomo! The hotel itself is fairly comfortable. Rooms are quite basic but very large and all have a balcony with wonderful lake view. Pool area is overlooking lake too and is very clean Air-conditioning works but don't expect to be very cool Breakfasts average

Lovely hotel in perfect position
This hotel is really lovely. Rooms are enormous with very large balcony. Lovely lake view from all rooms. Up to date, modern bathroom. Beautiful, well kept garden and pool area with direct access to the lake for some wild swimming. It's a really peaceful place to relax after a day's sight seeing. Breakfast also very good. Would definitely return to this hotel if back at Lake Garda.

Avoid if you have a car!!
Can't really complain about the hotel itself lovely view and breakfast acceptable. However if you're driving there or have a car to park, factor in the 15 euro per day fee to park (If there are even spaces available) plus the 3 euros per day 'tourist tax' which for a 7 night stay totals 126 euros, just to park the car!

We have stayed at this hotel previously and were happy to return. Room was lovely, and food was fine; service was occasionally slow, and the chap in the hotel reception was somewhat miserable/unhelpful.

Very good hotel, good location for lakeside
Very good hotel - we enjoyed a lakeside view with a balcony. It is just a short walk to the promenade of Salo with a great choice of lakeside restaurants, cafes and bars. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Salo is great place to stay with good quality at reasonable prices.
