"The young man working the overnight front desk should be running his own hotel one day! I’m rarely impressed with professional acumen, kindness, and sincere effort to go above and beyond. I literally watched this young man treat a dozen or more people checking in with such professionalism that I was astonished. The rooms are extremely big, super clean and they have an indoor pool, I however, it was freezing cold.. the breakfast exceeded expectations. I think it’s a wonderful hotel at a perfect location and definitely a competitive price. If I ever roll through Des Moines again, I will stay at this property."

We had a school group there focused on a local competition -- plenty of room to spread out, decompress with TVs, games, space to practice parts.Clean, manager EXCEPTIONAL about communication. Close to Des Moines downtown, Drake University, etc. Literally it was a PERFECT experience for my students, visiting parent, and myself. Would book here again 10/10."

"The room as advertised indicated it slept 5. This is false. With the way the photos looked, it appeared the room had a twin sleeper. The room fit 5, but we had to get an air mattress to make it work. The air mattress deflated in the middle of the night. So, if you have 5 people, be prepared to sleep on the floor. Otherwise, property is nice and clean."
